I've noticed that not all the textures can be edited with in the texture importer/exporter. The portraits from upstairs and downstairs (minus tiny huge island) are not editable.

I'd also love to edit Yoshi's colors. Would it be possible to make a color edited for yoshi like mario's?

How do you edit with the land like in Super Mario 64: The Missing Stars? That would open up a whole new world of possibiltys for me. I really want tomake a huge slope for flat world. \
_--------------------------\
_---------------------------\ Wee!

Also: How do you create a patch?

I just thought of something elses as well. I'm getting some really messed up coins when I try and edit them, even if I'm changeing them back to there original texture. I've seen edited coins, so it's possible to do. What do I need to do to my texture so it doen't blow up?

Is the Polygon Importer like what Messian did in his Missing stars hack for the buildings and such, or is this somthing that can be far more advanced when used to it's fullist?

If I under stand that right, then I hope so. I have alot of Midi files and no mml files.

This one only kills objects which are either solid or animated, so there's no risk killing important objects like warps, coins or Mario . Another improvements are that now the fireball speed is affected by Mario's current speed, plus you can control some aspects of the fireball by holding specific keys (watch the video for a more detailed description).

That is pure awesome. Words can't describe how awesome it is. The only way it could get any better is if you could make it a special cap.

Did you move toad's tool out of it's original folder, and what version of the rom extender did you use?

It's still in the orignal folder and I used: M64ROMExtender1.3b to extend the rom.

Also, unlike SMG, SM64 looks terrible in HD. Trust me. (Warning, 1680x1050 screenshot)

That's not as bad as DK64, which looks like the graphics were brutally raped, murdered, and then eaten.

I believe he is talking about the second part of the error. Which if it does have to do with Messian's flatworld patch, then you probably have to fix the pointers located at 0x002AC098. If you scroll down from that location you should come across the bytes [01 20 00 00 01 20 1b c0] If this is the problem then simply replace what he had for the last two bytes with [1b c0]. You will have to do this also for the whomps fortress too. scroll down farther until you see the bytes [01 30 00 00]. Just simply do the same thing you did with the flat world [01 20 00 00].

Yeah, the only reason I didn't get into technical details was because it might be too complicate for him.

It is. I'll leave them as is.

No, it's for both Macs and Windows. If it was only for Macs, why would there be a Windows version on the download page?

Are you still getting the same error you originally had with Toad's Tool?

Are you still getting the same error you originally had with Toad's Tool?

There are two 1.3 versions, 1.3b and 1.3.1b. 1.3b is only for windows and 1.3.1b is only for mac's. Which one did you use? The only time I had an error was, the time when I was trying to use messiaen's flat battle field mod patch, are you trying to use it?

I'm not trying to use that, but that patch does work.

I use version 1.3b of the rom extender.

To bring back up an ancient topic, I think I'm ready to try and do this. So I know where the script bank is, now what do I have to do?
I don't have messian's flat world patch on this rom.
