We all have our own experiences, and you’ll probably get different suggestions from different people. The first programming language I learned was assembly, and from there the concepts of other languages like C were a cinch (more or less).Originally posted by imamelia Actually, Javascript is not a bad choice at all, especially if you know HTML/CSS. My advice would be to find something you like to do, and relate programming to it. I got into assembly through ROM hacking, and was so interested in the subject that it didn’t take long to “get.” If you’re interested in making web sites, try HTML and Javascript first and move on to server‐side scripting later. I have also heard good things about Python. |
