Honestly though, they really and truly need to reform the copyright law, with greater emphasis on the protection, implementation and correct interpretation of the Fair Use clause. In fact, there needs to be far more leniency provided towards derivative works which are protected under the terms of fair use...as it currently stands, Fair Use nearly doesn't make a bit of difference in the defense of the common person again infringement claims. Oh, but Keitaro, these people claiming fair use are actually really super hurting the copyright providers!!!!!!! Yeah, no. I produce music for a living, I know exactly how this affects us (read: insignificantly) .. in fact, I would argue that derivative works are more likely to incline people to check out the originals, thus increasing profit margins for the greedy fat cats who don't care about anything else...this, of course, also doesn't matter. As long as I am in entertainment, I will make sure that derivative works always have my blessing.

So, this is a curious item (though probably not really). I won an auction for a DMG Gameboy recently which also just happened to throw in a bunch of random, unremarkable titles that I'm pretty sure the seller was just trying to get rid of. Further proof of that was that he included the GBC only game (as in, would not run on a DMG) title, Mario Tennis. What I did notice however, and what they may have overlooked, was that the label on the front happened to say "Not for resale" ... in fact, there was another sticker which on the back said "store demo" or whatever...which, when removed, hid ANOTHER sticker which read "property of Nintendo"

Now I know that the Pokemon Gold "demo" ended up being 1:1 the same game which is why I am not getting my hopes up, but as I never played the original of this I have no way of knowing if it is in fact any different or not. I also have no way of dumping it 8D is there anything in particular I could look out for to see if this is even worth looking in to?

I've been on psychiatric medications for years, and you know why? It's because I'm bipolar and I would be a danger to myself if I wasn't on them. The side effects you speak of are actually quite rare. Additionally, your video is quite clearly a biased source. (Indeed, the site it links to says the following: "There are no mental illnesses or disorders. There never have been." This is downright offensive to those of us who DO suffer from mental illness.)

Maybe do some actual research next time.

Yeah, I kinda need to echo this, it's pretty ignorant. I have been on ritalin for years and only recently stopped due to personal reasons, and am also on antidepressant medication as we speak. I have never had increased aggression or any of those things. Unless you have personal, first hand experience with any of these things, you should probably do some actual research like Acey said as you just come off as ignorant and offensive otherwise.

People who complain about the new designs and what not obviously either don't know the backstory behind the design itself or are failing to see how it fits contextually in to the environment of the Pokemon world. The fact is, they are only just now fully embracing the possibilities of having as many Pokemon as they do--it allows for much for fleshed out and "realistic" environments, as well as for more unique Pokemon distribution and interesting areas. Of course, in the case of BW2 this can also be somewhat overwhelming at times due to the sheer volume of Pokemon available.

Anyone that argues oh, they just made another dog/cat/whatever Pokemon needs to realize that most of these designs come with a new generation, thus a new environment and most places in the world don't only have one type of animal a lot of the designs are rather clever if not only for how they fit contextually in to the game, but also just in where many of them come from. They put a lot more thought in to most of the designs than you think, even if you can argue against things like Vanillish or the like. That one may be a little silly, yet I never hear anyone complain about Farfetch'd--statistically one of the most useless and, by extension, pointless (in terms of game play) Pokemon yet created--and he came from your beloved generation 1 OH NO

they actually use the "American" (international?) Pokemon logo in Japan for things like stores and kiosks, actually, so it's not just a matter of changing it over here I think...but I agree, a redesign would be kinda neat.
