Why... all these responses? Really, we couldn't have posted intelligently about this?

I use the dream world extensively. I try to maintain many dream pals from other countries (such as Japan or Italy) since due to time differences, they are always able to water my berries when I'd normally not be on and vice versa. I'm currently saving up my berries to buy the Space House, and then hopefully the rest of the furniture catalog, assuming they don't add more new crap I've been racking up dream points surprisingly quickly between berry watering, harvesting, and mini-games, but it still feels like far too long a way until I unlock the second set of Pokemon for each course (and the third...forget it ) which is a shame, because I'm trying to get a Maril (I have only one DS and can't Pokeshift) and despite not really wanting the dream ability on it in particular, that's the only way to get it period

Sure, I could get it through White Forest as an Azuril, but I don't have the resident required for that nor anyone I could Entralink with... kind of a bummer, White Forest became underwhelming fast when all I could catch were Hoppip, Aron and Nidoran F...I got a lot more excited about that area until I actually learned how it worked. It's probably deserted now since I haven't kept up with convincing people to stay

I guess I'm a minority then. I love, love love love bell peppers. The green ones are my favorite but the red are pretty good too. Stuffed bell peppers, chopped up in a sandwich, mixed in a sauce...they are always amazing. I am very partial to mushrooms too, assuming they are cooked in such a way that they have lots of flavor. Tomatoes, while botanically a fruit, are also something you can't go wrong with. Carrots are a great snack, use a veggie peeler and make tasty carrot strips! Who doesn't enjoy a good corn on the cob with lots of warm melty butter? Lastly, broccoli...I don't get how some people can hate this, its just...delicious.

I'm also one of those weirdos who likes to drink V8 juice, and I don't mean just the kind that has fruit too. I mean honest to goodness V8 Juice. It's good and good for you, assuming you get the kind with low sodium.

Luigi says it too, in that weird...knock-off Japanese Luigi voice, and is infinitely more hilarious (not to say this isn't absolutely hilarious in its own right)

also the reason Wario sounds different is because I'm pretty sure this isn't Charles Martinet, its...whoever did the voices for the Japanese Mario Kart cast, they never bothered to change them for the first three Party games iirc.

Definitely show that one developer rant, that's just classic. I would go through games that had a lot of unused content that actually kinda illustrate development history...Donkey Kong Country was a good one there.

I've been working on an Emerald hack for the better part of a decade now, as well as mapping out the rom in its entirety and eventually plan to disassemble it so there are definitely other Pokemon hacks in the work. I need to compile my Emerald data in to a readable, understandable format >__> I have a significantly large portion of the game completely mapped out and documented fairly well, its just that the data is not organized for anyone who isn't me to possibly understand and scattered across at least three harddrives I imagine once I get things organized though I could begin on an Emerald disassembly, assuming I can come to grips with GBA ASM 8D

I rather enjoy all of the side games, its hard to pick a favorite. I love the Mystery Dungeon games because of how it just keeps you drawn in to the story. I really do feel an emotional attachment to each of the characters, somehow, and allowing us to sympathize with just about any given Pokemon is not something I'd imagine to be an easy task.

I also really love the Ranger games just because of how unique they are, but also because of the art style and the addictiveness of it. I find myself 100% completing those games just because of how fun they are!

it's pretty common knowledge that the two games shared an engine iirc, there's a test room from Wario Land 4 in Metroid. Hilariously enough, Metroid 2 and Wario Land 1 also share an engine (as well as SML2 and maybe others, for all I know) ... oh Nintendo.

I had that issue with PET, though, which I assume was different from battled? though, I brought the PET issues to your (interdpth) attention so I just assumed battled had addressed those none the less, yeah, I used them both for grabbing data and doing it by hand, simply because I'm reeeeally paranoid and OCD sometimes

My PC, running WinXP Home Professional SP3, has been acting like a slow piece of shit. It takes close to a decade to start up AND shut down. Furthermore, whenever I attempt to go to Google, the site will either NOT LOAD (giving a "Server not found" error) or redirect to google.lt or google.cz or something really fucking seedy.

OBVIOUSLY this is some sort of virus--problem is, neither Spybot, Combofix, nor a virus scanner (I used Windows Defender) turns up ANYTHING. I have zero leads, there are no shady looking processes or things I don't remember being installed and everything appears normal on the surface...I have no idea what my solution is, and obviously can't google for help (granted I could just use my Mac and google but that doesn't make this any less ridiculous)...any possible ideas? :/

I seriously appreciate everyone's advice so far. unfortunately, I seem to have somehow made the problem even worse as it stands, the computer does not even start up (it loads, but it never plays the windows log-on noise, nor do my audio drivers ever load and is just all-around broken) and as a result of THAT, also is incapable of anything other than a hard shut-down. it won't even reboot or shut down properly, it will lock up. despite this nonsense it, in all other facets, "works", just...really awfully.

I really, REALLY don't feel like formatting this computer...is there perhaps any other possible thing I could do? hijackthis...I used it, but I honestly have no idea what it is I'm supposed to be looking for, although I'll admit nothing looked terribly odd. I even took measures and uninstalled java (figuring I could just reinstall it later) in the off chance that was somehow causing infection. If anything, that may have been what lead it to be worse? who the fuck knows. The computer kept trying to load DWTRIG20.EXE upon startup despite not being in any startup entries, anywhere. I read that the file was safe, but literally have never seen it until now and so out of complete paranoia just outright deleted it. the computer hasn't exactly thrown a bitch fit that it's gone, but I worry that may have exacerbated my startup issues. Legit willing to do anything, if not just out of sheer determination to fuck this thing up.

Edite: Gooredfix is the one thing I haven't had a chance to try, though at the moment the computer is disconnected from the internet in fear that its going to burst in to flames or something equally moronic that only this computer would ever possibly be capable of. While it may help with my redirect issues, it does sound like there's...a bit more going on than that, but it's worth a shot

Obviously the issue is that team Galactose and their overweight cats are trying to poison us all with harmful consumer goods :specialed:

While sugar may be harmful in large amounts, shouldn't the decision to cut back be left to the dieter? It's entirely possible to have a diet with only moderate to low amounts of extra sugars, and really...it's not like the facts aren't right there on the box as to how much sugar content is there. I can't imagine how regulating this as a toxic substance is going to go well for anyone as the majority of people simply aren't going to understand where they are coming from.
