| Well, I'm glad this got sorted out as I'm absolutely against hoarding as well. That being said, should the occasion arise, just copy/paste all the english terms and repoint. its literally that simple. The Gen. 3 Pokemon games are EXTREMELY easy to hack. |

| I was ran off the road about two years ago. Flipped six times. The fucker kept going, and they barely even tried to find him even though someone ID'd the car. Point being, this doesn't just happen in China, much like Xk is saying. This is horribly fucked up, but unfortunately that's just how people work. You figure at least all of those people must have thought at least SOMEBODY must have called for help, so they didn't. That's a natural response, plus the over-all fear as well. I'm not justifying this in any manner, it's fucked up, but that's just what happens when people assume under the pretense of fear |

| I'm curious if such a thing exists for Wario Land--as the games are based on the engine (the map format is exactly the same, iirc? as should the overworld in that case) and the instruction book makes mention to a number of now inaccessable/different locations (such as Fork Tree, which is now nothing more than a landmark/stage) ... I'm half curious if a "beta" overworld for that game exists as well. I know not much has been looked in to for said game and if I did not lack the skills to do so myself I would LOVE to tear in to that for finding hidden gems. |

I'd just like to note that I'm extremely happy this hack exists. It's nice to see an "old-school" style hack which more or less takes advantage of the existing engine (disregarding your extensive ASM work of course  ) and aims to make a "brand new" game based off the original. That also being said, I've never played an AW game in my life  but this is making me wanna start! |

Guys, lay off him a bit  we were all new once and many of us acted like dumbasses back then. Okay, fine, for those of you who are going to be like OH I WAS ON THE INTERNET WHEN I WAS 6 AND I ACTED LIKE ADULT, well, good for you. Some of us, myself, included, had a rocky start to internet etiquette, and people are very much capable of improving. I'm not gonna say names but I know several people on this very forum, myself included, who have started off similarly and improved significantly over time. So before you people keep making excuses about how age and the such is no excuse--we can't all be you, sorry.That also being said, Megaman, it might be better to find an existing recent topic that interests you. If you feel like you'd be able to contribute to it in some way, then by all means do so! there is absolutely nothing wrong with simply having conversation. Usually, posts that are not too brief yet also not too verbose tend to go a long way (i.e. the opposite of this one, lol) |

I personally am rather satisfied with iOS5 over previous ones (though I still wish they would make it so push notifications don't fucking disrupt and suspend the alarm clock indefinitely  )my iPhone 3G was perfectly fine up until its iOS4 days, where it proceeded to become a nearly inoperable lag machine. My new 4S is fantastic though I'm sure in several years I'll have similar complaints. It does everything I need, make/receive calls and send texts plus a few other cool things, so I am honestly satisfied. I use Copytrans Manager that yde pointed out, though I don't believe it works with iOS5...perhaps the newest update does, I haven't tried it yet. |

| Oh god your poor wallet I drive a 2010 Kia Rio after my bulky Isuzu got buttfucked in the most ridiculous of domino effects. No power windows or locks, which gets old fast, but it gets me from point A to B and it looks pretty good doing so. Gets pretty good millage too, from what I can tell. |

Actually, I'm 23 which is a little worse. I've actually been kinda bummed out because I've been going through this weird "oh god why haven't I done more with my life" phase upon the realization that I am in fact as old as I am, but the past few days have just been going so awesome that I've kinda gotten my mind away from there long enough to enjoy things  anyways, thanks!  nice of you to make a thread like that |

| I imagine its compressed much in the same way the rest of the graphics are in that game...assuming HMAGIC can't decompress them, I believe Lunar Compress would. |

So your graphics tool allows any graphic compressed in that format to be replaced? is it possible to edit the trainer graphics as well as the Pokemon, then? And even then, the back pictures? I'm aware that uses some weird magnification system that looks hideous, but there's probably ways to bypass that too I'm sure...of course, the increased size would have to call for those images likely to be repointed/the game expanded  |

| good to know, about the free space stuff. I hacked the GB Pokemon games extensively back in the day (my main focus is the GBA ones now) and I remember very much that Red had a lot of weird programming quirks, so I just assumed the free space was limited. |

| i use SurpassHosting and they are pretty fantastic. I pay around $7 a month and the bandwith/data allowances are pretty decent, or at least were when I got my package. May be worth a look |
