My news tends to come mainly from the internet, and I could see Newspapers atleast decreasing in size(meaning the newspaper companies get smaller and make less money, not the newspapers themselves being physically smaller) in the near future. However, I don't see how things such as books could die, you can't entirely replicate the reading of a book on a computer, and the biggest advantage of print is that you can still read it if the power or internet is out. I read many books, and can't see the practice dying.

My school is nuts about computer activity in general, the Comp Sci room is on a LAN, but not actually connected to the internet, and the library/'media center' computers have blocked everything off. You can't access anything on those computers excluding what's on the desktop, and they're very restricting on when you can use them too. I think I was allowed to use those computers a grand total of twice all last year. The only upside is that our Comp Sci teacher is lethargic, and possibly drunk. So it's possible to play games if you're far away from him. Of course, this adversely affects actual learning of programming, the only time people play games is during after-school things.

Well, at this point, I don't need glasses, and my eyesight always comes out fine on tests and stuff, but both my parents(moreso my father) need glasses, and my grandfather has macular degeneration, so I don't know what that means for me later in life.

I've never been to a LAN party, I'd guess that the atmosphere accounts for alot of the fun though. Of course, that's not a bad thing, doing things with friends is always good, and better than without. I'd like to go to one at some point, the only problem being I don't like the most common games that would be played there, so ehhh.

Hey, someone else who drinks as much Iced Tea as I do. Although, I have the less-sweet, normal Arizona Iced Tea, I prefer it over the sweet tea. I tried coffee once, didn't really like it, Iced Tea is fine for me, although caffeine really doesn't affect me much, I can drink a lot and still be tired, or not drink any and have plenty of energy.

Honestly, Sony seems to have no idea what's going on with their system. Lair was not a system saver, they're thinking of Warhawk. This is a very stupid move regardless, and all it does is hurt their reputation even more, I doubt any reviewer is going to say "Oh, I should review the game with Sony propaganda in the back of my head, yeah!" and this just makes Sony look desperate. What I don't understand, however, is why I care about the company behind the machine, Sony is sleazy, Microsoft is sleazy, Nintendo actually seems decent, but I doubt they truly are. The point is, the practices of a company have nothing to do with the quality of the system after it's been released. Sony's being stupid, ono, it doesn't mean games are going to magically disappear from the PS3 or my PS3 is going to explode because Sony thinks they can influence reviewers on Lair.

Haha, that's awesome. At first I was skeptical, saying "Well, what if they miss the message? If you're half-asleep, you don't notice things." But it burns the message into the toast, which is nice. I can't think of very many practical uses for it aside from the examples, but it'd be fun to mess around with.

Pretty much the same thing, just crosscountry and not tennis. I've had a phone for one year, almost no one knows my number, and I just use it when I need it. Also: I've never seen the point in all the super-feature phones. They're cool but once the novelty wears off, I can't see anyone using the features much. Although a keypad would be nice and practical, since typing with the numbers is a pain.

Let me be the first to concur on the subject of this game's awesomeness. While at first the controls are a bit difficult to learn how to use correctly, after you get the hang of it, it's very fun, and yeah, I do find myself doing things that get me hurt, but eh, it's a good game. Although, it's rather difficult to hold onto weapon powerups for any decent portion of time.

Ah, I missed the thread when it was first posted. Anyway, looks to be a nice hack in progress. Some of the music is good, but others(Particularly the Boothoven fight, sorry, but it wasn't very pleasant) aren't. I haven't listened to all of the SPCs, and don't have time right now, but I will say that the second videos music is quite nice. This overall looks to be a very polished hack though, and I look forward to it's release.

It really seems to me that the stages in Brawl are a cut above those we've seen in the past, instead of just a few interesting stages, now mostly every stage has something to it.
