Man. That's a painful nerf for the Dead Ringer. But I guess it helps push for a more team oriented use instead of using it for solo missions.

It's not a huge amount of lives. You gotta have some good timing. And you don't achieve much of anything after forced repeated uses, unless it's something like a Payload map. Then it's a heap of lives that keeps pushing the cart with hardly a stop ;

I can definitely see that it was broken, but it's still kinda painful for me to have it nerfed. Now that the Dead Ringer's been out for a while, there're less people that're fooled by it. I don't even have to hear the loud crackling sound to know that someone's using a Dead Ringer (as long as I see when the guy was "killed"). It now buys you as much time as cloaking in front of an enemy is, with no faster recharge from ammo or standing still.

Not saying that it sucks, though. It's just removed a playstyle. There're plenty more.

I'm shocked at how well I play as a sniper. Equipped with a Huntsman and Jarate, though. What works best for me is to "just go for it". When I tried out the sniper before, I spent so much time trying to line up a shot with the sniper rifle. With the huntsman, I don't.

And throwing Jarate is so much fun =x

Also, two memorable moments from recent playing. One of them involved me killing a Demo with the Huntsman taunt. I didn't get him from the initial stun, but I killed him during the arrow removal. I knew he was coming to get me, so I hid around a corner. That didn't impress my target, though.

The other moment, though, did impress my target. I can't remember how I knew, but I knew that a bunch of people, including spies were coming up (I can't remember the level anymore ). Instead of doing what I usually do, throwing jarate at a crowd, I decided to try my luck at hitting someone with an arrow. Considering that it was a crowd that was going to be coming up, I knew I was going to hit someone. However, that group wasn't coming out yet. And then I thought "Wait.. what if someone's cloaked..". I shot out an arrow, and got a headshot off of a cloaked spy.

Achievement milestones are back. Well, they were always there, but now they're there for Sniper and Spy.

While people would still be miffed that you can randomly get stuff, at least it should calm SOME people down

I just realized this right now. If it wasn't for the random drops, I wouldn't have gotten the Huntsman and Jarate.

If it wasn't for the Huntsman and Jarate, I would've never bothered playing as Sniper, meaning I would never unlock the Sniper items.

I'm even more glad for the random drops now, but it's still nice to have those weapons to be unlocked via achievements. Just there're multiple paths to get somewhere in a TF2 map, there should be multiple paths to getting weapons
