This thread is growing cobwebs and for some insane reason I have nobody to talk about this show with so I'm going to implore everyone to watch Mob Psycho 100

I'm lazy so here's the synopsis from Wikipedia

Shigeo Kageyama is an average middle school boy, called Mob (モブ means background character) for lacking a sense of presence. Although he seems like an inconspicuous person, he is in fact a powerful Esper. As he grows older, Mob realizes his psychic powers are dangerous. To avoid his power getting out of control, he constantly lives a life under emotional shackle. Mob wants to live just like others, but a barrage of trouble comes to him. With the suppressed emotions growing inside Mob little by little, his power threatens to spill over its bounds.

I think the season is only 12 episodes total (11 aired so far) but they all bounce between being funny and touching and gripping and it's all intensely animated and super good. Plus it's created by the same guy as One Punch Man so you know it's

I'm also currently watching Psycho-Pass and, of course, Diamond is Unbreakable (it's gureato)

You may as well just do what I usually do, which is to mount a directory on the host system as a hard disk in WinUAE and then just copy files off of the disk via AmigaDOS. Probably not as convenient as using an Amiga disk image editor (which I have no knowledge of) but for extracting the LBM files and stuff it shouldn't be a problem.

Dunno if it still exists, but the sprite was definitely posted somewhere here (or in one of the private forums) years ago. I remember the color palette causing me to compare it to Klaus Nomi for some reason.

I still have that thing saved on my server and the URL memorized for some reason. Good old Visual Basic novelty programs.

As usual, I'm mostly just digging up debug features and other lost code whenever the mood strikes. I've been trying to branch out a bit, console-wise (see my recent-ish PSX game articles) and I may try to tackle some other systems eventually.

Aren't shaders typically compiled at runtime? Or are these shaders that the games don't actually use?

My goal/resolution for 2017 is to finally start being more proactive in making stuff, other than software. That means primarily music as well as user content for a handful of games (maps, textures, etc.)

Of course part of that will cross over with my normal software development, in the form of my own MIDI sequencing software which I started several months ago and never really got out of the concept stage.

Ideally I'd like to get to the point where I can have something I consider "finished" on a weekly basis, whether that's something I can release to the world by itself, or a concrete part of some larger project.

I'm also going to be buying a new bike soon so I can finally resume riding around for exercise, though unfortunately I no longer live close enough to my workplace to be able to bike to and from my job.

Hopefully someone who has the game will archive it before it inevitably gets replaced.

I use PSX-MODE2 to replace individual files in PSX disc images. I don't think it supports replacing entire directories or groups of files at a time, and all the program output is in Spanish but it's not that hard to figure out.

For actually extracting/converting graphics and audio, jpsxdec usually works pretty well.

(Both of the downloads are currently broken due to romhacking.net server trouble but should be back in due time)

For actually browsing/copying disc contents I just use PowerISO to mount the disc images.

The console is pretty much functionally identical to the ones that have been in every FPS engine since Quake, and enabling developer mode isn't required to use it. AFAIK the only thing the "developer" cvar does is allow you to load "loose" assets that aren't packaged inside KPF archives, and is specifically mentioned in the official tutorial that is included with the map editor, so it's not exactly a secret.
