Does this picture contradictory to common knowledge have any significance or just some kind of hack/hoax?
I found it here who says the EU version removed eReader content, like most places online do. ![]() |

Even as a proud northerner this kind of bill passing would give its region less appeal than it already has.

I took another quick look at Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine.
The apparent prototype is not region locked. Letting the sound test access normally. While the Korean version (Dong Gu Ri Te Chi Jak Jeon) despite being locked to only NTSC-J consoles doesn't display the sound test (like Sonic Classics/Compilation). A fun tidbit as seen here, is its lockout message actually fixed the US/PAL "onry" typo. |

Does this change language on a Japanese system, as with the US final?

| http://tcrf.net/Proto:%53onic_Mega_Collection We've run across a WTF. EX Jinsei Game II material in a version of Sonic Mega Collection. ![]() Any ideas what went on here? Common dev team members perhaps? Final games were released a year apart, separate platform and companies. Weirder yet this Sonic proto is in English. Not Japanese. |

Yeah not much else makes sense in context.
The related GC game who did come out was called Special Jinsei Game, not sure what's different about it. |

Woot. Fitting for Halloween, long unused content has risen from the dead.
Advance Wars Days of Ruin is finally coming to Japan. 3DS-only DSiWare and initially Club Nintendo exclusive. ![]() http://club.nintendo.jp/rank2013/famicomwars/index.html |

Maybe you guys can help me figure out whether I've happened on an odd region difference.
What byte does US Master Quest use to decide language? (GC AR code is in the above link) Unless I'm being an idiot the CZLE / CZLJ header hack appears to only work on Japanese. A picture of that result. ![]() |

Poked at little at PC Billy Hatcher. Still has references like 50/60hz and Gamecube-GBA linkup.
There are unused Japanese text files (helpfully with _j in their name), plus its inis suggest support was considered. |

Metroid Zero Mission has redundant English subtitles for the intro sequence. Found by forcing the language bit with 33000020 0003 (US version).

I don't think so. All other languages use subtitles, the big text is still English even for China.

BS F-Zero Grand Prix 2 (Ace League) naturally has stuff beyond its 5 playable tracks.
Some duplicate to varying degrees, from the original game, or pretty much broken. Just a sample for now. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Does "All Rights Reserved" appear anywhere in Ninja Five-O? It's loaded with the title screen tiles.
I also see some of its fonts contain umlauts/etc, despite the PAL version too was English only. |

Somewhere on Acmlm's I'm sure. No clue about the details.
Unlike a lot of us my Super Mario World hack from 2001 has never been canceled. I still continue to poke at it. |
