The real question is who's going to sit through that monstrosity.
(...OK, I'll be fair. Who's going to sit through it in ONE DAY.)

Yeah, from what I saw it seems that if they took your cash, you're getting a copy. Problem is that I'm guessing this is an EXTREMELY limited release. :\ Might need a second run (which is good for the publisher at least).
From what I've read, early impressions are that the game's not too shabby but the English VA is hilariously AWFUL - thankfully, you can switch to Japanese VA if you wish.
(And the ISO's out but I'm not touching it yet - nobody can get it to work. :\ Sounds like a bad image.)

I would have to check about the Canada thing. There *IS* a relatively new GameStop about 10 minutes away from me and odds are if any place around here would have the game, it's them. (I've only been in there once - it's pretty big.)
That said, the indications are that this isn't coming out here which justifies me downloading it - once a *fixed* ISO comes out. For God's sake, groups can't rip PS2 games properly anymore?
At least the game mechanics sound good.

(well, semi on-topic)
NIS America had their E3-ish presser the other day...
- Disgaea 3 (PS3, August)
- Disgaea DS (DS, September)
- Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure (DS, September)
- A Witch's Tale (DS, October?)
...well that's a lot of DS support.
A Witch's Tale is apparently an Action-RPG game. Trailer has a nice story but is entirely devoid of gameplay. HitMaker are the developers.
Rhapsody DS will have the original Japanese songs since Atlus probably has the rights to all the English dubs.
Disgaea DS is out in Japan at the end of the month so there really won't be a lot of turn-around time on that release... roughly the same with Rhapsody as well. If nothing else, NIS America's doing a great job timeframe-wise.

I'll see that article and raise it with this.
Yeah, our government's going nuts. This one's gonna head to the Supreme Court of Canada for sure in the near future.

Wii Menu version 3.3 is now available for your Wii Console. To update your Wii Menu to the latest version, please select the Update button at the bottom of the screen or select the System Update option in Wii System Settings.
With this update, you can now move a Mii from the Mii Plaza to The Mii Parade in the Mii Channel. To do this, simply pick up a Mii using the A and B Buttons and then release it over the Mii Parade icon in the upper-right corner of the screen.
Because unauthorized modifications to save files may impair game play or the Wii console, updating to Wii Menu version 3.3 will also check for and automatically remove such save files.
If they hadn't included that last sentence, that update would have been hilarious. A new version of firmware JUST for the Mii thing?
I know it sucks, but give Nintendo credit. That is, until the next workaround comes in a week or two.

I was wondering how Disgaea 3 sold in Japan... dunno if the numbers are great or not. They sold 55,000 copies the first week but they also had Super Smash Bros. Brawl to contend with. Dropped off the Top 30 sales charts after 3 weeks. :\ So I dunno.
Wouldn't it be something if the NA sales beat the Japan sales?
