Well at least it has a cover now. They're making progress! Maybe by the time the next delay happens, they'll have screens!

I'm trying to figure out which one of those five is the publisher. Namco did Namco x Capcom, so maybe it's Capcom's turn? I wouldn't say it's nearly impossible that it sees a NA release but it depends. I'm guessing Namco x Capcom got nixed because of licensing issues.
(Speaking of that game, the translation patch is in open beta which is cool. I'll hold off a little bit until most of the bugs are ironed out but it looks like it'll be finished someday. )

I had to do... hm... I think 25-30 hours.
I took care of all of them in one summer.

You never played any of the first three?
At least play the original. Speed up your emulator and it'll be done in a couple of hours.

It's due out sometime in 2008. So let's say March 2009, sounds about right.
Given how the DQ4 rom includes a partial English translation, there was a high chance of it coming here. 5 and 6 are no-brainers since they never received a release here (although Nintendo Power was VERY hopeful about 6 getting a release but it was too late in the SNES lifespan for that).

I actually downloaded this a while back and I should check it out, but you want to talk cheap?
Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer for the DS. You die, you're sent back to the very first village at Level 1 with everything stripped unless you bothered to save some items in the Warehouse. And of course you're not going to put your best weapons and armor in there, are you? That would just be silly. And when you start thinking "hmm, it's getting tricky, maybe I should put this sword, shield and EXP gaining ring into the Warehouse", you step onto a trap that spawns four monsters around you; monsters you can deal with, but still. Four against one.
And then one of the enemies kills the little girl who's part of a sidequest and he levels up to something that you should absolutely NOT be facing at this point and you get bounced around back and forth.
And then you die.
And then you have to start alllllll the way from the beginning with nothing because you took a chance and didn't put anything into the Warehouse.
...Yeah, I'm pissed.

I had burgers last night.
I don't mind other stuff on the BBQ but I'm not a big fan. If I can't have burgers, I'll gladly go for chicken and roasted potatoes.

Translation: stop doing the same old crap. More TWEWY-type games (I *REALLY* need to play that after all the great impressions of it) and less Final Fantasy VII sequels/prequels/etc.
That is a very worrying sales drop, but let's be honest; without looking at release lists, I think the 2006 crop of games in North America was a bit better than the 2007 crop. And I'd also be willing to bet that the majority of their NA sales were DS/PSP related.

I just opened up a savings account a few weeks ago and also have plenty of money in my checking account. I figure that every few months I'll transfer some money over to savings, and if I ever end up in a really big bind I'm allowed one free withdrawal/transfer from savings each month (anything else has a fee).
I'm not posting my available balance. Most of you here would drool.
