I have no expenses because I live at home. :\
So for the time being, I'm frigging lucky and rich.  Which is good because when I finally do move out - and have to do things on my own - I'll have a safety net. That's what I really want, I don't want to rush into things and have to live paycheck by paycheck. If I already have some savings, then I'm good if things go sour.

The bus.
The bus is actually a pretty valid excuse. If the bus isn't there when I show up at the stop, either:
- It came early (rarely)
- It's coming late (likely)
The schedule will likely iron itself out once we finally, I dunno, GET OUT OF WINTER... but it's quite possible to be stuck behind snow removal crews on a busy street for a few minutes. :\ I'm really not *late* because of the bus but it can be the difference between "walking leisurely to work" and "going straight into the building and straight upstairs to start work within 5 minutes of getting off the subway".

And it's an Atlus game not being published by Atlus, no? So yeah... but if it's a solid game by itself then maybe any other quirks (say, translation issues) could be overlooked.
Arcana Heart *and* Baroque *and* Persona 3 FES, it seems. Atlus is so going to pull a GBA with the PS2 and release games for it well into 2009.
(Plus a crapload of DS stuff soon like the really intriguing Rondo of Swords and Etrian Odyssey 2.)

There was a time when video game magazines were absolutely necessary - I wouldn't have known that the SNES was coming out before reading Nintendo Power, for example.
These days, everything's on the net. Well, maybe not everything, but at least a good 95% of stuff. And if a magazine has an "EXCLUSIVE FIRST LOOK" at a game, odds are the pictures will be leaked right afterwards. Or if a magazine announces a new game (i.e. Famitsu with Disgaea DS, etc.) then it'll be reported on the net ASAP.
I wish there was a good magazine out there. Something VG&CE-ish.

Apparently snaking... exists but it hardly gives you an advantage. So the technique is still there but it's not very useful at all. You'll just look like a dumbass if you try it.
(Which is good, I can't snake at all.)
VERY quick first impressions... Wii Wheel is comfortable, tracks look pretty decent, I expect to have some great fun with this. Haven't touched Online yet.
And there were a TON of copies at the store when I went today... I must have picked up one of the first few (along with a free Wii hat), so yeah. Better for Nintendo to release today than on Tuesday, though.

It's just a white hat with Wii on it. Nothing special but at least it's official.
I would have preferred a t-shirt or a pin or something else, to be honest. But it's free swag.
Anya: That sucks. :\ Then again you're going to make up for that around midnight tomorrow I think.
