I was also in part of that "Let's just have every form of precipitation over two days, kthx!" event a couple of weeks ago. Now that we've started to crack 40° some of the snow has melted leaving us with ice on top of mud. The last several days have been "I'd really rather not go outside today" days.

A long time ago I read RFC 1178 for some reason and ended up settling on using Final Fantasy characters as names for devices on my home network. I usually steer clear of the ones that are way too long to type and I can never remember how to spell them anyway, like Valigarmanda or Midgarsormr

I managed to pick up a PS5 at MSRP a couple of weeks ago. I have no time to really play any games on it right now, but the rest mode lights look kind of nice when I pass by it on the way through the house, I guess

I guess since the last reply didn't have a question, I get to ask anything I want!

I have no way to prove this, but back in the Super NES days I accidentally discovered the Ghost Save feature in Super Mario Kart. I figured that this would be a great way to get my name printed in Nintendo Power's Classified Information feature because I hadn't seen it anywhere (and I had a subscription to both Nintendo Power and EGM). I wrote it up and sent it in and... nothing. To my knowledge they never printed anything about that feature/trick anywhere in any format.

My question is: are there any video game secrets you have discovered just by playing around with the game and not by finding it in a book, magazine, web site, video, disassembling a ROM, etc.?
