How the hell does a person go 40 hours without eating? I've gone through some insanely busy work/school periods where I literally don't have even 5 minutes to grab a bite. After only 12 hours I start getting very conscious that I've not eaten anything and get very irritable. And this is with a ton of important shit going on around me.

The 4-5 times I've gone 24 hours without sustenance, I basically become a complete madman that will refuse to do anything that does not involve driving to a fast food place and stuffing my face. I surprise myself at how insanely single minded I get. 40 hours? forget it..

I don't care if I just started playing the new Mario/Metroid/WoW/Minecraft/Pokemon mega mash-up game that just released and is the greatest game ever made ever in the history of the world of all time, I ain't going fucking 40 hours without food. Seriously, wtf is up with people who forget to eat.

September 25 the fur will fly.

Hopefully, the transition patch 5.0 or something should hit a month or so before to get us acclimated to the new talent system. Think I'll re-sub now just to be on the safe side

No but seriously, don't upload a video for the purposes of uploading a video. Create something interesting and unique. Then after you have product to show, show it. Or do whatever the hell ya want, its your life.

Anecdotal evidence, I believe is what you mean. And yeah, the accepted American gamer stereotype would sooner die of too much junk food, than of no food.

As for videogame addiction, I'm sure it does exist, but I personally feel most gamers accused of being addicted to games spend no more time than non-gamers spend watching television. Its simply what you do during leisure time. One can choose to watch 3 hours of reality television or blow up zombies in a fantasy world. We chose the latter, no addiction involved.

Well, obviously it goes without saying that this is the most interesting SMB3 rom hack since, well, your last SMB3 rom hack. I really hope you finish it. If ever I wanted a rom hack to be finished...So many start ups by so many people, so few completed projects.

I love your overworld concept and the fact that you earn experience. It adds so much to the usual formula of bopping through just to get to the end of a level. Can you give an example of a special ability Mario would get with experience points?

Also, is not throwing shurikens straight down a design decision or a technical hurdle?
One more thing..2014?! aw man...

Women's Beach Volleyball.. Mr. Burns Voice excellent...excellent
I like basketball too, but really only care about the final gold medal round. The opening was meh, McCartney was neat, but he don't exactly sound like he used to. Nothing compared to the Beijing ceremony which had a guy running on air, unfurling a big ass scroll like a boss.

If the question was, "best horse simulation", then yeah, Agro wins hands down. However the question asks what trusty steed to take on an adventure. Ocarina of Time is not the legendary game it is without Epona. Link's adventure in Hyrule gets stopped cold without Epona. A entirely new game opens up once you hop out of Lon Lon Ranch.

I don't want a horse that makes me cry, I want a horse that lets me shoot arrows at Poes and jumps over short fences only if aligned perfectly straight and running at a specific speed.

*Shadow of the Colossus is indeed a must play though*

There's a new IWBTG game? Interesting.

I got a new comp and can now play some of my steam games that ran like shit before. Also, some save files didn't get saved to the steam cloud so had to start over. No biggie.

So I have been playing Borderlands again from start. Just got Orcs Must Die 2. And I got back into WoW. During lulls in my day, my portable game of late has been Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga, I never beat that one.

Oh man totally. This will be the first collector's edition I pick up. Had they had a digital version of previous expansions, Blizzard would have a lot more of my money. Their loss.

I've been leveling my alts like crazy..well trying to at least. With the introduction of account wide achievs, I'm gonna assume there will be (or eventually be) a "Max level a char of every class" achievement. My lowest levels are 25 rogue and 55 warrior. Everything else is in the 80's or max. I got my work cut out for me.

I understand the value in showing your hack on a real tv. It shows it's not faked and that it can be played outside of a emulator on a computer. But, its you DahrkDaiz, we believe ya. I'm sure you are aware of stuff like Camstudio That last video seems cut off from the top and obviously it doesn't look its best recorded via camcorder. Just asking why you go this route is all.

I absolutely love whimsy in the cinematic. How could you possibly take a monk panda serious anyway? They might as well embrace the ridiculousness of the situation and give him some humor. Also, I don't think people view WoW as a realistic games, so the couple "realistic" human models in previous cinematics are out of place.

I've always said, if you loved WoW before, this expac will simply enhance your love. If you never cared for WoW or always had issues with certain things, flying pandas won't change your opinion.

And of course...pet battles go!

When I think of Nintendo Power, I think of the older, pre-Gamecube issues. To be honest, I consider those issues to be much more interesting than the newer batch. I remember the only times I read anything outside of school was this magazine and would actually get mad at myself for reading through it all in one sitting when it arraived. I would try to pace myself and read only a few sections a day, but always failed.

All the N64 coverage was just..wow. Never have I felt so exited about any shred of info on a console. Nintendo Power was my only source for info on it and it was like crack to me.

Nintendo Power "shut down" long ago in my eyes and was a real shame.

My fave PC controller for a long time was actually a Mad Cat Xbox controller (original xbox). Those things just used regular USB innards and one only had to get an unused USB cable, snap the connector part and attach it the controller and it worked beautifully on the PC.

Now, I just use a standard Xbox 360 wired controller and have had zero issues with any game or console emulator. I would like to get a more fancy multi button mouse though, like a Naga or something.

So with Paragon levels you get MF without the need for MF gear. Sure wish I hadn't spent a million gold on MF gear now

I fear all MF gear is now kinda worthless and will be a non seller in the AH. Sure wish I hadn't horded all that MF gear

A legendary ring that you can get can now proc a treasure goblin on hit. Sure wish I hadn't killed myself trying to get to all those elusive treasure goblins that keep running away resulting in many deaths and huge repair bills

Is that the way this works?

So its not dark magic and rainbow unicorn powder that makes a good SMB3 hack..interesting. Good read man. Almost interesting enough to get me to do a hack myself... ...almost.

As far as the videos, I too see the advantage of that dithering effect. And doing it with a camcorder is fine. Just try to make sure the whole TV is in frame and looks good. I would hate for someone to dismiss your hard work on account of less than ideal footage capture.

Yeah, these games don't have the same amount of indie charm as the indie royale bundle. Shattered horizon is a funky perspective-schewing shooter that actually looks interesting. Miniflake is a straight up roguelike with a monochrome gameboy palette. Waves is basically geometry wars but with more geometry wars. Wagon adventrure is freaking hilarious, but ultimately too shallow for more than 1 or 2 plays.
