OK what the fuck. Why so much hate, why? According to every post on here: "The story sucks, the gameplay sucks, blizzard sucks, its too easy, its too hard, its not enough like D2, its too much like D2, its too bright, its too obvious."

Yeah, having random, dynamic content is going to lead to some damn impossible elite packs with BS attributes and to utter crap items dropping from them sometimes. But THAT is exactly the heart and soul of Diablo. How can you not know this if you've played any amount of Diablo in the past. And if you haven't , what were you expecting? The second coming?

Constructive criticism is healthy and good, but my god, give this game a break already. I love it and yall are killing my buzz.

Play the game if you like it. If you hate it, don't play it and move on to something else.

Sorry, its just that between this thread, the E3 thread and EA Company thread, so much negativity is being spewed in a forum dedicated to games which are you know..things of fun times to play and smile and be merry with.

Nifty intro.

Cons: Green Valley, has a long stretch of boring flat land at end of level that could be spiced up or removed. A couple of unfortunate blind jumps because camera is too high up in Green Valley 3 where the cloud blocks are. I'm not the biggest fan of copious amounts of coins and moon-ups in the yellow switch palace, but I'm sure its a nice crowd pleasure for most. Hard to see that horizontally moving grey block you have to get on in Old Castle Ruins.

Perhaps a teeny bit too much use of koopa troopa enemies in well, every level. Not sure if my comp sucks or too many enemies, but there was definitely some slow down here and there. When Blarg pops out in Green Valley 4, the lag is dangerously bad.

Pros:
High quality text for text boxes, nice. You wrote some nice stuff. LOVE the pipe theme in Castle Ruins. Dandelions theme looks very soothing and sweet. Look forward to that world. I mean, you can just tell you spent time on level design and look and feel which is the biggest complement I can give. Some people just slap blocks together and call it a day. You devoted time and effort and it shows.

Given recent events, namely, the SMW level contest that ended last month, I think most people would say the levels are slightly too hard, what with long jumps, carefully placed enemies and sparse power ups. However, I think the difficulty is spot on! I died maybe 5 times total in the demo. 1 death per level I say is balanced nicely for a seasoned platformer player like myself.

You really have something nice here and I hope you keep on it. Good Luck Mert!

Hmmm, that screenshot with the egg.. I mean, I know the pirate bird boss drops eggs that you use to kill him with. But that screenshot..Diddy is climbing on the rigging? Is this the boss level or not? Am I going crazy? This is just a boss rush right?

Regardless, fucking awesome stuff man. The team colors are like wow..that old school Gameboy green palette looks like something I'd totally pick.

November release..gahhh. Why they previewing this so flippin early?? Hate when they do this with actual interesting movies. A movie right up our alley it seems. Anyways, these are the times I'm glad I'm friends with people with kids.

Oh yeah that's right. I forgot about this game. It was totally one of the main reasons why I got my first flash cart for DS. (It was a bitch to play on an emulator with a mouse) Yeah, I remember obsessing to try to get perfect on all the games too. Don't think I ever even got close though.

My favorite game was that Frog singing one where you control the back-up dancers. The one where the beat switches from the down to up beats on queue with a bunch of marching stick men zooming in and out was memorizing too. Good times.

I played about 10 minutes of the Wii version at my friend's house. Can't say I was too impressed with what I saw. The wii mote play control made it feel significantly less precise than the touch screen/stylus of the DS. I'm sure, with more time one gets used to it though.

I find full comboing in GH is 10 times easier than Rock Band. However, I find Rock Band to be much more fun to play than GH, not like I play either though. In GH3 I'm pretty sure I full comboed expert all but the last "set" of songs which were: Raining Blood, Cliffs of Dover, The Number of the Beast, One, The Devil Went Down to Georgia. I don't think I bothered with the bonus songs, except Impulse which is awesome.

GH4 and 5 I just never really got hardcore with them enough to full combo anything I think. They had some good songs, scatterbrain, LA, How Do you Feel...but really nothing that could pull me from RB2/3.

I do plan to revisit them and all my other games once I get a new Xbox though. My current one stopped reading disks almost a full year ago now.

Hulk Ultimate Destruction and Spider Man 2(not that it was developed by Radical) are easily my favorite action sandbox games. They were very similar in gameplay and feel, and I flippin loved it. I would say Hulk was slightly better since you felt more of a bad ass smashing, jumping and climbing around. Very few Gamecube games sucked up my time like these 2 did.

I've never played Prototype, is it anything like these? If it is, I'm sorry for not giving you my money Radical Entertainment

Do you guys play the latest snapshots? "Various actions will now reward the player with Experience Orbs, such as mining ores (except Gold Ore and Iron Ore), using furnaces, and getting achievements."

Holy balls! You get exp from mining ore blocks including coal! Can now actually use up some of that exp to make shit. Also, trip wires, switchable game modes and integrated single-multiplayer map. Can open game up to Lan with a click of a button. Also, some good amount of optimization. I can actually stay at 30fps all the time now without Optifine.

Its nice to play this again without the need to download mods to make it enjoyable. Hope it lasts.

Yeah. I can now totally replace my array of pressure pads with a single long tripwire. Also, won't make my defense system totally obvious. I don't want to be cheating my way through rough situations with a quick /creativemode_activate. Arghh, first world problems!

I actually took a beginner's guitar class last semester where I learned surprisingly more than I thought I would. Alas, my short stubby fingers make playing the guitar a stressfully difficult proposition. Nice to learn chords though.

My main musical adventures come in the form of music composition. I just like to experiment with my keyboard and sometimes record what I like into Sonar 8 and mix it for fun. I usually try to make music for games, but usually end up with weird, super melodic stuff that really only I enjoy.

Oh yeah, was in the marching band in high school and in the Jazz band in middle school...trumpet. :p

Well, not sure if you clicked on the link. But the riverboat I got on is basically enormous. A cruise ship riverboat if you will. So didn't really feel in any danger and unless you went top side and walked to the rotor side, you really can't hear its rumblings.

I'm totally with you with the swamp/gator stuff and I assume you mean the "south" when you mention not getting along with the locals. Not sure if Nashville is considered to be in the "south." But well, it seemed normal enough to me. (Not like I mingled with the local yocals anyway, mostly stayed with my group of band mates)

* totally no offense to anyone from the "south" *

As for cruise liners...I so don't understand the appeal. It's basically a nice hotel on the water. You can just go to... a nice hotel on land and NOT be locked into one location at all times.
