Uh... no? It is only server mods that make you a bot. Valve couldn't make bot skins for players as the robot models don't have proper bodygroups to equip all the hats and such without major clipping (moreso than usual).
Pretty bad.

Yep, saw that there, but Valve probably won't implement anything of the sort officially.
A shame, really. I've been messing with custom MvM missions and I have to restrict myself if I want to stay with the standard Valve models. They really need to fix them up so everything works right, especially now that the Robotic Boogaloo hats are in and would be perfect to equip on each of the robots.

If you have yet to watch Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin) then you are missing out.

Pretty insane thus far. Some parts are predictable but it is quite good. Highly recommend.

No no no. Plants vs Zombies 2 is a sequel to Plants vs Zombies. Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare is a completely different title that is a third person shooter with classes. Really curious about both to be honest. PopCap really had a blast showing off PvZ:GW, and it pretty much made the rest of EA's conference boring in comparison.
And that Sony conference wasn't a sucker punch. It was downright murder. They showed off the games, the console, and briefly touched up on some entertainment areas before throwing games back on the table. The fact they showed Indie devs right on stage (from Mercenary Kings to Transistor to Octodad) proves they are going to be a powerful console, and the other games shown keep the library for the PS4 more interesting than anything.
Plus, it is cheaper, and while you have to pay PS+ for multiplayer gaming, the positives for PS+ outweigh that one negative. Maybe it was worded wrong, I dunno. The benefits are just superior in every way.
$499.99 Xbox One vs $399.99 PS4. I think it is easy who clearly is the winner here.

Not as hype for Nintendo.
Sorry. Not even Smash has me going "YES" even though it impressed me with Megaman and Wii Fit Girl. I hope they announce more characters in the same way. It is really silly to do and really makes me want to see more that way, especially after Brawl being quite a disappointment. More silly, please.
Overall, I still gotta hand it to Sony. They hyped me up the most.

That trailer made me want a modern Final Fantasy game. I was not expecting it to be like that, and it impressed me quite a lot.

Which is... exactly... like... Steam...
I mean, really, now you are just nitpicking a console you hate just to hate on it. This is nothing new, as Steam has done the same thing for years now (seriously, buying a PC game these days requires activation on Steam or Origin before you can even play it), except they are applying it to a console. In general, it is a good idea (since you get the disc and if the disc breaks after you removed the game on the console, you can redownload it easily), and I'm glad they have some kind of system like that so I don't have to worry about finding a disc to play a game every time I want to play a game.
Not that I'm liking the Xbox One too much, but that's just a ridiculous point to hate on it for.

Originally posted by Inuyasha When Steam starts banning people for living in Fort Gay, I'll consider this argument to have a shred of merit.
Is that the only issue? I haven't heard of any other kind of false banning besides this, and this particular one has been resolved. The bans I've seen were very legit, from people calling others faggots to hacking their avatar to have green skin, both of which are against Live's TOS. They probably have had people call up wondering why their profiles/locations resulted in a ban when putting up a gay/racist/sexist joke in there, so obviously they would be skeptical when a real situation arises.
I don't know any other issues, but it isn't new at all, and it surely isn't that easy to get banned. If that is the only issue (with that being ONE account from what I know), then that is grasping for straws.

no.
I don't even like that kind of language personally, but calling an account ban "legit" because of that is wrong.
How would like it if you were having a bad day and snapped at someone, and suddenly found every dime you spent into your console vanish into the ether?
Why wouldn't bans be OK for sending racist/sexist/etc. messages through Live? Especially bans that prohibit messaging/party systems to prevent more harassment for a week or so?
If someone came on here and called everyone faggots, we'd ban them on the spot, be it through PM or public. Why is it not OK for Live to ban for the same reason? Because they paid for the service? So they should be allowed to call others faggots because they paid for the service? Even if they are harassing others who also paid for the same service?
Originally posted by cpubasic13 I haven't heard of any other kind of false banning besides this
Retailer sells game before street date, MS punishes the player who likely doesn't even know what's wrong in the first place.
How often does this even happen? I have never heard of someone buying something early without knowing it and getting banned. Most people that get a game early don't even hesitate to brag about it, post pictures on the Internet about having it, spoiling it, etc.
Or for that matter, if your account gets compromised, you now lose everything too! You don't even get to play games offline while everything gets fixed.
Funny. This is how Steam works too. Steam's offline is a pile of shit that requires you to connect first before going in offline mode for even half your games to work. Saying that Steam offline is a better choice is pretty ridiculous. I'd rather wait for Steam to come back online to play a game before I play in offline mode because of how absolute shit it is (I couldn't play Unreal Tournament -- a game where an Internet connection isn't required -- on Steam when offline because of this).
If your account is compromised, you still lose access to a lot of your games unless you were connected prior to the compromise, and even then you have to wait for support to help you out in either case.
Also, no, Steam does not take every single game away from you ever owned away from you if you get banned, so it's not even similar in that regard.
Neither will Microsoft. Why are people complaining about this shit again?

It wasn't the last day. It was just the last day for specific games. The rest is still on sale.

The Spiral Groove Bundle on Indie Royale is live.
Contains Sniper Elite V2, Gatling Gears, Bloody Trapland, and Judge Dredd: Dredd VS Death. Bloody Trapland doesn't have a Steam key, the rest do.
There is also Humble Bundle With Android 6 which contains Aquaria, Fractal, Organ Trail: Director's Cut, Stealth Bastard Deluxe, and Pulse (Android only), with the above average games being Frozen Synapse and Broken Sword: Director's Cut.
And finally, there is Indie Gala June, which isn't as high quality but still cheap for a lot of games.
