I prefer being able to see the what I've written while I'm writing something, which I can't do (at times) outside of portrait mode as the keyboard is too big.
Admittely, it may just be fault of the preinstalled virtual keyboard app.

XP Black Edition? That's new to me. I was expecting something along the lines of Windows 7 Genius Edition and all the insanity that came with it.
Now I'm a little bit disappointed (if screenshots are to be believed). :V

MDGX is also a classic. I sometimes head there to get working utilities for my VMs, especially when websites like OldApps.com sometimes blatantly lie when it comes to version compatiblity.

The capabilities of changing the date format is something I always seen as cool but never actually went around and done anything with it.

I've mentioned in another post how this was going to be the worst day on the week, and this was due to an exam I wasn't really looking forward to.

And as usual, it didn't actually go that way. I'd say it was generally a painless experience, and general feel of the exam wasn't "oh god oh god oh god"-fest.

I keep thinking the worst of some exams even though they usually don't go that way thankfully.

Oh well. One done, one to go.

I've only really seen the YMD format in use for files spewn out by a certain backup utility, which yes it does make it very easy to lazily programmatically sort files by date as I experienced it

I'm not willing to train my brain to departure from the standard for anything else though.

KRNL386 Blog - Mostly covers the evolution of Windows 1.x, starting from the origins. The level of detail this goes into is something you wouldn't expect; this is likely the most detailed covering out there (for what's been done). Too bad it's fairly slow on updates.

GamingHell This is a pretty cool website featuring lil fun reviews of obscure (and not so obscure) games. Also double counts as a retro website.

SR "drama tracker" well yeah this is fun to look at I guess

at the same time though giving this level of control to any user is probably too overkill


anyway, what about customizable open fields, where you can enter anything as key and anything as value? it would probably automatically solve the "what fields you want" issue, though there should be some limits to how far you can go with it
