OK, the truth is, I just found my old profile and wanted to show it to you so you could see how ... weird or not weird I was then. I actually read the last post as December 2007 but thought of December 2007 as being last month, for some strange reason.

As you know this level is very weird, as depending on certain conditions, you'll end up in a different area. Is there a way in LM to edit where you go if you enter a pipe or door depending on conditions like this? According to someone on VGMaps.com, the level seems to go like this:

If you have 0-8 coins in Area 1, you go to Area 2
If you have 9-20 coins in Area 1, you go to Area 3
If you have 21 or more coins in Area 1, you go to Area 4.

If the timer is more than 250 when exiting 2, 3, or 4, you go to area 5.
If the timer is between 230-249, you go to area 6.
If the timer is less than 229, you go to Area 7.

If you have 0-3 Dragon Coins after exiting 5, 6, or 7, you go to Area 8.
If you have 4 Dragon Coins after exiting 5, 6, or 7, you go to Area 9.

No that's alright. What I would like to know is, do you know the level addresses of the different rooms?

By "address" I meant the Level Number in Lunar Magic... I know the first area is Area 24. And it says the screen exits to CF, and then from CF - CE, then to CD, but what about the other areas?

All I really want is maybe screenshots? I'm not really that good at all that weird codey ASM stuff infact I know so much I call it weird codey ASM stuff. I ask because someone at VGMaps.com, (dbarrier54 is his name), says that the current CI2 map on that site doesn't display all the rooms, and I just wanted to see what they looked like. Not play the game, just maybe screenshots or something?

Area 2, 3 and 4 share the same address but depending on the conditions, the area is different somehow.
Same with 5, 6 and 7 sharing the same address, and 8 & 9 sharing the same address.

Um... how did we jump from version 0.5.994b to version 6.0?

That means erm... we jumped about just over 5.4 versions (lulz?) Yeah, I know, VL_Tone, I already said it on YouTube, but some people'll probably think wait, there's a version 6? Where's versions 1-5?

Yeah it kind of makes sense now, seeing as the last was 0.5.994b IIRC.

Um... so... after I open up the command prompt thing (assuming that's what you should do), what in God's name do I type? "rlm.exe"? "make program go now"? What? It just says to type in "rlm.exe "
Where? If I type say "rlm.exe MARIO.smc MARIOsux.smc" it doesn't work.

From the readme file:

Running the program is very easy, just run from the command line:

rlm.exe

Where is the file name of the ROM to recover, and is the
file name for the recovered output file.
If you can't get RLM to work on your machine, it's probably because you don't
understand anything about console programs. In the past, I've had numerous
people send me messages asking for help. The biggest complaint is, "RLM closes
by itself when I try to open it!" Well, that's because you're trying to use it
as if it were a GUI app. Since it is a console app, it must be run like a
console app; start up your OS' command line, and have at it! If you don't know
how to do that, I have no confidence that you will ever make good use of RLM,
any way. Closing this statement, I'd like to say that if you stop being lazy
and try to GoogleIt (tm) you just might learn something!

I can understand the "start up your OS' command line" but that's it. What the heck do I type? And no it's NOT a "drag and drop". I've tried that... and it does what Parasyte says is the reason fo the "biggest complaint".

It starts with:

Microsoft Windows [Version 6.0.6000]
Copyright (c) 2006 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.

C:\Users\TUK>

After the "TUK>" bit I put:

Desktop\SMWRTDL\Super Mario World- Return to Dinosaur Land\English\rlm.exe MARIO.smc MARIO2.smc
as that's the location of the rlm.exe, the file I want to 'unlock' and the output file. It then says:

'Desktop\SMWRTDL\Super' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

I put a "\" before Desktop but then it says the location doesn't exist.

I did manage however to get a screenshot of what actually happens for a fraction of a second when you just try and double-click the exe file:

RLM (Recover Lunar Magic) - v1.2
Copyright 2003-2005 Parasyte

Usage: rlm.exe (infile) (outfile)

That doesn't make sense. What am I supposed to type? And what does "cd" mean in your post?

Sorry, but like most people on Earth, I prefer programs where you simply click them. Not these stupid DOS Command Line Batch things.

see http://www.w3.org/WAI/GL.
You are recommended to use CSS to specify the font and
properties such as its size and color. This will reduce
the size of HTML files and make them easier to maintain
compared with using <FONT> elements.

You are recommended to use CSS to control line wrapping.
Use "white-space: nowrap" to inhibit wrapping in place
of inserting <NOBR>...</NOBR> into the markup.
