The build date (04/12/02) dates to just 2 days before the US GC Demo Feb 2003 (06/12/02) [1] so I don't place much hope in it being much different from final

Nonetheless, this patch can be applied to Romancing Saga 2 to convert it to the Wii VC version. Only differences seem to be a few bytes at the end of the ROM.

One thing to note is the Word lock file, which says that at the time of the files being included, Paul Ranson (credited as a developer) had the RMIP Wii-Banner_CheckSheet.doc file open.

This is correct. I've tried it with a US DSi-only cart and it failed to recognise it. Worked fine with CFW.

The only difference for the Game Tosokan side between each game (didn't compare to the cart) is the checksum in the header
