| I'd hope there wasn't too much question on if any of the old stuff would be in. It's a series in which Mario had an alternate color set from Wrecking Crew, for god's sake. This reminds me. We're still missing a Sonic-based level. We've seen one each for Yoshi, Pit, Snake, the Kongs, Fox, Ice Climbers, ??? (Animal Crossing icon), Lucas, the Kirby set, Ike, Pikachu(/etc) and whoever the DS icon's for, while we've seen two each for the Zelda group, Mario/Bowser/Peach, and Samus. Sonic is the only one without at least one level shown to his name. (Kickass Marble Zone remix in the game plz) |

| The Japanese boxart of the original Smash Bros. showed all the non-hidden characters, as well. The US version of that one skipped... umm... Donkey Kong and Yoshi. Bizarre. |

| Bah, if it worked, it would've been a good deal for me. I have a Wii, but it's staying home when I go to school; even if I came back for the weekend it came out, it's being released Sunday, so I wouldn't be able to play more than an hour or two anyway if I could find it. Therefore... Yeah. Getting it for 20 bucks a few days late (I could probably get my parents to pick it up) would've been a steal. Also: Having Snake and Sonic be secret characters would be very disappointing. Then again, all the characters I played in Melee were secret characters, too... |

| That's... almost a believable starting lineup for the actual game. Almost. Most obvious issue? Lack of Zelda. Next most glaring is Pit's absence, given his involvement in Subspace Emissary. Still very cool. If only it was downloadable, though... |

| Dr. Mario is one of the ones who can be reasonably thought to not be returning. Unfortunate, yes. I loved playing as him. Luigi, however... He and Jigglypuff are almost certainly still in, even though the site hasn't mentioned them. That would be 26 playable characters, not including any number of characters that neither the site nor magazines (nor previous games) have shown. (Oh, and Ganondorf I believe has been confirmed by one of the developers in an interview.) |

| Umm... that "unused sprite" looks like miscellaneous stuff from the SA-X. That standing sprite is used after it blows up the door when you first go down to the habitat ring, for instance. |

| There's no guarantee they'd have shown the other third party character (if one exists) yet. Moreover, teconmoon, unless you have proof, the assertion that Geno is unlockable cannot be dismissed. Madman200: Roy was in Melee, remember? Look up the release dates. Fire Emblem: Fuuin no Tsurugi wasn't even released yet at that point. Argue that it's not the same all you like, I consider a playable character to big a more significant feature than a level, by any stretch, particularly considering that Good Egg Galaxy has been showing up in prerelease screenshots of Galaxy ranging all the way back to the beginning, practically. |

| I think the issue that people are ignoring is the fact that "Misty" is a completely normal name for a cat. My family babysat a cat with that name (although she was dark gray) like... a decade ago. I think it's a cute kitten, but the picture's so blurry it's hard to make out much aside from that it's a cat. |
