There was only really one stat build in Diablo 2 ("get enough str to equip your item, then only level vit"), so this mainly just means it removes the "build your character wrong, wash out in mid-nightmare" option.

Arguably, the fixed skill builds also mean you're not going to end up having your awesome Revive necromancer suddenly be worthless a few months later, but yeah, it does feel a bit less compelling to me.

Fun (and by fun I mean... "fun") note about the account rollbacks: if you have one done, you're locked out of the RMAH until you get an authenticator. If you have two done, you're locked out of the RMAH forever. Just thought I'd remind everyone who thinks it's totally free and awesome and stuff.

You climb the rigging in between phases on the Krem Quay boss (the ghost pirate bird). Hit the boss a couple times, climb rigging to the next level, repeat.

The GB color set amuses me for no good reason. I concur with 2/A; the shading looks a bit off on B, and 2 looks more tangible to me than 1.

I hate that so much. I swear I remember being able to avoid most attacks like that in the old games, to the point where "rolls to-hit on animation start" was an extraordinary circumstance.

The main issue I have with the runes is that you can't get things like rings with +1 charged bolt or whatever. It feels less unique to me.

Ultimately, if the Millennial generation pushes our society toward more sharing and closer living, it may do more than simply change America’s consumption culture; it may put America on firmer economic footing for decades to come.

Sick nasty burn. Makes me sad to be part of this generation, doing things like "making the future better" and "improving productivity" and "making a more stable economy" and "focusing on things like ideas instead of the crass consumerism that's been destroying our planet".

The constitution is very resistant to change (you need 2/3s of the states to sign off on any amendment), so barring something catastrophic, it's unlikely to change.

On the other hand, more states moving towards proportional representation (instead of winner-takes-all) will make the electoral college results much closer to the popular vote.

According to the guy who created it, he's been working for Capcom (specifics not given) since July or so.

Regardless, considering the amount of free advertising he's getting out of this, I'm not exactly sure this is a bad arrangement, particularly given he went to them, rather than vice versa.

Voltorb isn't the worst generation 1 design. If your issue is "lazy", it's Electrode or Magneton/Dugtrio ("identical to its pre-evolution but with its colors inverted" or "open MS Paint Ctrl-C Ctrl-V Ctrl-V NEW EVO YAY"), while if it's "boring", look no further than Seaking (the amazing abnormally-realistic goldfish).

Considering Relicanth (which is a prehistoric Pokemon, but not revived from a fossil--surviving in isolated environments, just like the real life Coelacanth), I believe it's likely that prehistoric ones are generally rock-types.

The screenshots look severely wrong to me; someone I know suggests that it's because it's got too smooth a gradient between "light" and "dark" shades, which... explains a lot, really.

Hopefully they improve it significantly, as it is, it doesn't look cel-shaded so much as that it's using N64-style lighting or something.

(Still going to keep my eye on it, I enjoyed Wind Waker--loved the combat in it.)

I remember when the Romney supporters were all up in arms about how Romney was going to win the popular vote, but Obama was going to get the electoral college and how that was a horrible thing and would cause a reexamination of the electoral process...

...and now the same people are trying to cause this to happen in future elections.
