Adding anti-aliasing I would consider better, even if the Wii already has anti-aliasing and chose not to use it in the game for maximum performance. But bigger is not necessarily better.
The fundamental misconception you appear to be operating under is that a higher resolution means the image is bigger. It does not; it means that the pixels are smaller, so you have more possible screen area, even if the screen's the same size. Considering that the game's 3D, this means that you would not notice a difference in size, but you would see much cleaner edges (and fewer "jaggies") at the bare minimum.

The Wii looks pretty good at 480p. Only time I can think of in which I would really need higher is playing local multiplayer Mario Kart Wii on the mall stage; there's not enough resolution to be able to tell what direction the escalators are moving from more than a short distance away.

Honestly? You're going to argue that a company is irredeemable because of something they did 91 years ago? Go 90 years into anyone's past, see if you don't find something as or nearly as awful.

(I would somewhat argue that cases 50-60 years ago are nearing, if not past, their limit in terms of relevance as well, but I'd really need to see what you're referring to there.)

Again, that's a hack that messed with a few things (for better or worse; not a value judgment). To make a standard S3&K ROM you... copy the Sonic 3 ROM to the end of the Sonic & Knuckles one. Can be done with copy /b on a command prompt, if I remember right.

Genesis Plus works fine. Played all the way through S3&K a few months ago on it, no problem.

On the other hand, politicians often get protection from this, and so, it gives them further feelings of entitlement and invincibility--to corrupt and ruin things.
I suspect Arisu meant things that aren't directly relevant to politics. Being a robber baron is obviously not one of those things. Family issues are irrelevant, unless they directly impact the job they do in office (compare President Clinton to Governor Sanford; one continued to do his job in spite of his affair, the other used state funds to fly to Argentina, completely deserting his job in the meantime).

Drag: While that's a rather optimistic view of it, I rather doubt it would work that way. Consider, after all, that marital status, nation of origin, religion and political affiliation are all still protected (for state employees, at least; couldn't find a university one real quickly).

There are any number of franchises that would be perfectly (or at least reasonably) suited to being a rail shooter.

Metroid isn't even close to being one of them. About the only bit of overlap between the two is the fact that both involve people shooting (arguably, a slightly better fit than Yoshi's Safari, but that doesn't make it a good idea).

On one hand, that's interesting from a technical standpoint (and from a usability one, too; I missed at least a few events).

On the other, god help us if it leads to an even larger sudden influx of wonder guard spiritomb (or whatever the cool kids are using now).

I don't have any money. If I did, I'd be playing along on Heart Gold. C'est la vie.

Oh that's interesting, that means that they either 1) Copied the items from Platinum but deleted Explorer Kit and still left VS Seeker in or 2) They actually inserted the VS Seeker for some reason Or the VS Seeker was originally in but late in the development they decided to remove it in favor of the call system...

Hmmmm, makes me wish I knew how to work around a debugger and all those hacking tools.
The VS Seeker works within the standard functionality of the game. The Explorer Kit is focused entirely on the underground section. One of those is a lot riskier/more complicated to keep around than the other.

The password should be "yrots evac". "Litgano Motscoud" is a bad transliteration of the Japanese password, which was the game's title reversed.

Can't argue either way on anything else, but that much I'm sure of. Kinda unfortunate if they went the "pure literal" route on everything, that tends to lead to an exceptionally boring script.

You all act as if the occasional horribly obnoxious gimmick is new. They may not have shown up in the Genesis games too often (your mileage may vary on pretty much everything in Sandopolis act 2), but Sonic 2 GG brought us hang gliders and ride-the-bubble.

They may not seem quite as annoying, but the thought was there.

Also, it's one level. All of the other ones shown appear to be pretty solid.

Actually, I find the... disabled people (what is the proper term here?) to be the more questionable of the two. You can argue whether the reason you excluded one person was because you dislike them individually all you like (high school students in large numbers, stupid decisions), the problem arises when you lump in a bunch of other, completely unrelated people. Suddenly it's no longer "students disliking one person who brought down a bunch of unwanted attention", it's "students actively discriminating against a group".

I associate "light" with the psychic type, not fighting. Seems to fit the duality well; Umbreon/Espeon, Darkrai/Cresselia, Thief/Trick, Memento/Lunar Dance, Nasty Plot/Amnesia.

Arguably, a "bird" type would've been good back in RGBY. Differentiate Doduo (flightless bird) from Butterfree/Charizard (flying not-bird) and Pidgey (flying bird), and all that.

Don't ask me what weakness/resistances to give it (although it needs to be super-effective vs. bug for obvious reasons).

Reimu: Smeargle can simply use Conversion to become Flying rather than using role play or skill swap to borrow color change off of a Kecleon. I was going to try to see if you could use the transform->rage glitch to get roost onto Arceus, but it can't use transform, mimic, mirror move, copycat (HEY GUYS WE NEED A FEW MORE "COPY THE LAST MOVE" ATTACKS), assist (to copy transform off a teammate), or metronome.

Onix is 4x weak to water, compared to Vulpix's 2x. Combine this with that spdef difference, and you have a lot of pain for the giant rock snake.

I'd never noticed that about Red/Blue. That's... kinda dark.

I'm aware of that, but I think the game still could use some balancing to make it better.

For example, making dragon, steel and dark types weak against something more. (as in, not a weakness but less resistance. So that maybe one more type deals normal damage to them)
Dragon only has 4 resists (2 weaknesses). This is the same as water, electric, and poison. The reason dragons are problematic is because of their attacking capabilities; the only thing that resists dragon is steel.

Originally posted by midori no kaze
I think fire and thunder are the only two things that work on steel, but most steel types are mixed with something against thunder. (Scarmory takes 4x from thunder though?)
Fire, fighting, ground, immune to poison, neutral from water and electric. Skarmory takes 2x from thunder, 1x if roosted. Generally, fire is the best bet, barring Empoleon, the rock/steel ones (Aggron, Probopass, Bastiodon), Heatproof Bronzong (), Dialga, and Heatran (flash fire, woo!).

Originally posted by midori no kaze
Dark is not very good alone against much, but on the other hand, one of it's weakness is bug type, and let's face it, almost no one use bug types. (I have one bug type in my team but it tends to get owned all the time... I have due to it being cute! )
Very few dark types seem to get a lot of use. Umbreon drifts on and off, Tyranitar is used for its other type and ability (sand stream is kinda amazing), Darkrai is considered uber (combination of stats, Dark Void, and Bad Dreams), and that leaves Weavile as the main dark type that's known largely for being a dark type... aside from that it's also an ice type, letting it wreck dragons.

Originally posted by midori no kaze
IMO the dragon type could use a whole remodeling. The dragon is good against dragon type seamed to me to be a bad move in general. There are very few dragon moves that most other types can learn. (at least from my experience) And this kinda puts you in the situation where, if your opponent have a dragon, well then you need one too! Obviously this is not always how it is as there is the ice weakness. But I kinda would like it to even out in another way like the other types do.
There are a grand total of 11 dragon type moves, and two of those are Dragon Dance and Dragon Rage, which really shouldn't count. Two more are signature moves for Dialga/Palkia, and Draco Meteor is dragon-only. That leaves Dragon Claw, Dragon Pulse, Dragon Rush, DragonBreath, Outrage, and Twister. I don't remember where I was going with this, but I think it had something to do with that ice is probably the safer way of trying to take down a dragon, considering the only ones it doesn't hit super-effective are Kingdra, Dialga, and Palkia (and it hits Garchomp, Flygon, Dragonite, and Salamence for 4x damage). If anything, they need more types that resist dragon; it hits for neutral straight down the line, except vs. dragon and steel.

Freezing is useless because there is no move that specifically inflicts it; the only way you can get frozen is by a 10% chance off of ice beam, blizzard, etc (or 6.7% off of Tri Attack).

Freeze lasts pretty much "until you thaw" (20% chance every turn of attempting to act). Sleep is 1-4 turns. How well they work in comparison to one another depends on your luck.

The Asteroids level? It's available via cheat code (down up Z L down left Z down at the save select screen). Still obnoxious that the one souvenir doesn't work, but... not a total loss. Not sure if it's fixed in the PSX version, either.

The Asteroids level?
The manual mentioned some kind of "control room" which required you to get all the souvenirs and power cells. I see no sign of it existing. I suspect the asteroids game was just some quick thing they hacked together to replace it. (It doesn't even work right. If you score high enough, you spontaneously get infinite lives. Which is great, except the only way to end the game and save your score is to lose all your lives... )
I suspect the manual writers were... misinformed. I would consider the control room to be part of Big Celebration Parade, the part where you kill the brain. Of course, that just requires you to get all 4 suit parts (although the gold suit is a bonus if you got all the power cells).

I find the complete lack of mention for the original Pokemon games to be a shock. Ignoring Missingno, there was still the whole "critical hits are based on your speed" thing (probably intentional, but still not a good choice), ghost being totally ineffective against Psychic (all the guides say that it's super effective), Focus Energy reducing your chances to get a critical against the opponent (making it, yes, the only move worse than splash), Gust being normal type (guides all say flying), that whole glitch city thing, the Mew glitch (good, until you get a bad missingno off of it), being able to surf/fish on the statues in gyms, Poke Doll to avoid the ghost Marowak (your mileage may vary on if this is a negative impact), getting stuck on bushes if you cut them and then save/reload where they were...

The alt attribute should be used to give a short description
of an image; longer descriptions should be given with the
longdesc attribute which takes a URL linked to the description.
These measures are needed for people using non-graphical browsers.

For further advice on how to make your pages accessible
see http://www.w3.org/WAI/GL.
You are recommended to use CSS to specify the font and
properties such as its size and color. This will reduce
the size of HTML files and make them easier to maintain
compared with using <FONT> elements.

You are recommended to use CSS to control line wrapping.
Use "white-space: nowrap" to inhibit wrapping in place
of inserting <NOBR>...</NOBR> into the markup.
