To add onto this, it showed getting a triforce shard out of a chest that would normally give the chart. This removes part of the annoying "Triforce Quest" or whatever you want to call it. It will be interesting to see how they replace those 8 charts, as they are removed and there is supposed to be one chart per quadrant. Also, I'm interested if there will be more use in Tingle Island (aside from Tingle Bottles).

I played through the game, all main quests and side quests, and it is a great game. Plenty of references and doesn't get too old, even after playing all the activities. It's a must play/buy.

Oh god this new update. And I refreshed a while ago and lost 10 cursors so I'm back to 150, on top of losing some time machines. Now I need all achievements and upgrades.

While I'm not planning on getting a 2DS and know little about this, I assume it's going to be quite profitable and that it's a wise business move. I must admit, there have been too many DS "upgrades" or whatever you would like to call them. To say that they are not making their fans happy is a huge generalization based on one of the worst sources possible: youtube comments.

My game has completely stopped saving. I can mash save, I can wait for an autosave, I can export save, but it won't even export the current save, just the old save. I think I'm done with this game...

I've seen some posts on here in the past about hacking some objects into rooms, restoring old rooms, etc. I've been working on a full game hack of Wind Waker for a while now, and now that I've made some progress I've decided to post about it on here. The hack is aimed towards the speedrunning/glitching community and requires the usage of glitches to complete the game. It's sort of a Kaizo hack, although not nearly as tough as others. So far I've gotten about half-way through each Dragon Roost Cavern, Forbidden Woods, and Tower of the Gods. I've yet to decide if I'm going to do Earth/Wind Temple, or if I'm just going to add barrier skip. Here's a couple of screenshots:1 2 3 4

Most of the difficulty comes from the puzzles and the fact that if you mess one up part way through, you'll have to restart. Saving partway through a puzzle will most likely lead to a dead-end.

As I have an ISO of that demo disc, I can try to help with tgctogcm, I've used it with the Zelda Collections and various demo discs. I'm afraid I'm not actually at my computer and won't get back from school until ~15 hours from now though. If you haven't made progress by then, I'll see what I can do. The videos are either going to be .thp or some other file format I can't remember right now. If it's a .thp, I believe it can be uploaded directly to youtube. Otherwise use thpplay to watch it. For the other format, you'll have to dump the video from Dolphin.

I believe the only way to get a video of the .h4m files is to run it on console, or through Dolphin. I've had issues with running them in Dolphin though. I actually have a really nice setup now, so I can just play the videos on my wii and get them uploaded if you want.

Sadly I don't have any actual code to or documentation to show, but MilesSMB has written a randomizer for Prime 1. A VOD of his playthrough attempt can be found at http://www.twitch.tv/milessmb/c/4297668. He's still cleaning it up and I have no idea if he plans on releasing it. I believe it works by editing the locations of the items in the ISO beforehand, so it's not ASM hackery.
