The games are (normally) sold by Double Fine for $10 and are downloadable through Steam. They've been available for a few months, I think.
http://www.doublefine.com/fortnight
I don't think these belong at the site, personally, since seven out of the eight are proof of concept games (except for Costume Quest, which was finished quite a while ago) but that's just me.

Originally posted by Abystus I've got a bit of confusion about whats suitable for a wiki. I've recently uploaded 4 gif files (Killer Instinct 2) to the site, providing it some sort of content instead of linking to youtube (which one day the video may be removed), but had the gifs criticized for quality (which I can understand and had no problem trying to correct) by an admin (BMF54123). I then re-uploaded higher quality gifs (spending my personal time again to please the admin) that are below or equal to the 2 mb limit (a lot higher quality), which were approved by another admin (Divingkataetheweirdo), but then deleted by another admin (xkeeper), because he feels they are too big for gifs, and would prefer video on youtube instead.
Now lets see here, we have a 2 mb limit on files for a reason, and we want content on the site that is not comprised of youtube videos if possible. How are we suppose to provide content if people feel the need to just go and delete peoples hard work? I don't really like to make gifs of video, but I'm not going to upload a 2 seconds video to youtube for something I can just create an animated gif for (under 2 mb). And you may say "hey just rip sprites instead", but after the removal of content I've taken my time to create (twice), I'm surely not spending more time to have it removed again.
I really liked this place (reading about the unused content found), though it appears that things are a bit too strict in the moderation department for my liking. If I'm willing to correctly my mistakes, and they are approved by the admin at the time, then that decision should stand. On that note, I most likely will not be contributing anything further to the site, as it would not be worth my time in the long run with things being removed by random opinionated admins. I spend enough time hacking the content to put up with someone's tantrum (deletion of content without a worthy replacement) on how I present my findings on the wiki (especially when they are within the bounds of the in-place file limit).
Upload the gifs somewhere. I'll convert them to AVI, looped a few times, and upload them to my Youtube account.
Uploading pretty pointless videos is something I'm familiar with.
That is, if you're still willing.

I know this thread sounds kinda spammy, but I'm trying to find a full retail version of Windows 7 Pro - the boxed one, not a key, nor OEM - and most sellers on eBay want outrageous prices for it. Even used. I want it so I can make my computer dual-boot and play games that won't run on Windows 7 with my XP Pro.
Any idea where I could look?
Oh, I don't want 8. PERIOD.

Watch them put ads up there in six months, tops.
Or worse, something like TUMBLR PRO.

Speaking of useless crap, anyone have a spare Heavy TF2 card around? I have several repeated demo, scout and sniper cards.

I started to replay bits of Back to the Future again to double check my findings - it turns out that the game only gives you three aliases to choose from in episode 1, but there are files for six names! The three that are used are Harry Callahan, Sonny Crockett and Michael Corleone. The ones that -aren't- are Joe Montana, Bruce Springsteen and Morgan Fairchild.
Sadly it looks like the only references are in the very first episode.
I need to reinstall Sam and Max to see what the heck is up with those other graphics I found.

If anyone's curious to see what I've done so far for Back to the Future, you can see it here.
I'm gonna work on the text side of things next. I'm pretty sure there's a bunch of tutorial text leftover in all episodes, including stuff for the PS3 version that shouldn't even be in there. Episodes 1 and 5 have -lots- of audio so I may have to do subpages for these subpages. :p
