While browsing through Legoland on the PC, I found a bunch of cheat codes in Legoland.exe. In order to activate these codes, you have to type them in during a level.

SHOWCAPACITY
DIGGER
IMPROVISE
WELOVELEGOLAND
PRAISEME
HARDASNAILS
COLDHARDCASH
DIE
STOP
WEST
CASTLE
INCA
EGYPT
ILIKETOTRAVEL

Could someone please test these codes out for me? I accidently crushed the game disc with my new monitor, and the game needs it for copyright protection. (I'll be buying a new disc soon.)

Notes: DIE appears to need a number inputted before it, and WELOVELEGOLAND might be related to the unused sound effect of the same name.

I was looking through the Game Boy Camera for unused content and I found the bird's flag from Run! Run! Run! To my knowledge the bird never gets 1st place, so I'm pretty sure it's unused.

Could someone tell me if it's used or not?

I'm just creating a table here based on what I can find about these cheat codes:

SHOWCAPACITY - Show various statistics when you hold down the Shift key.
DIGGER
IMPROVISE - Stop all level objective scripts, convert to Free Play mode.
WELOVELEGOLAND - Instantly beat level.
PRAISEME - Show the park inspector's appraisal.
HARDASNAILS - Rides never need to be fixed.
COLDHARDCASH - Get 5000 dollars.
DIE
STOP - Turn off music.
WEST - Set music to western theme.
CASTLE - Set music to castle theme.
INCA - Set music to Inca theme.
EGYPT - Set music to Egyptian theme.
THEME - Set music to main theme.
ILIKETOTRAVEL

The only ones that I can't find information on are DIGGER, DIE, and ILIKETOTRAVEL. DIE appears to be a level select, DIGGER might have something to do with the LEGO Bridge that gets built later on in the game, and I have no idea what ILIKETOTRAVEL does. Also, what kind of statistics does SHOWCAPACITY display?

I have found some unused content in Microsoft Bob, for the PC. Because this is not a game, and more of a GUI, would it qualify for TCRF? It does have several games bundled with it that are not sold separately, so it might count.

Posted on 10-30-11 01:30:40 PM, in Nintendo DS NTR Debug Cartridge Findings (last edited by AttackedbyGlitch at 12-13-11 06:26 PM) Link
I thought it was about time that I look through the Nintendo DS NTR Debug Cartridge. I wasn't able to rip any of the unused sprites because I can't really seem to figure out how to get the right palette with DS graphics. If anyone knows the right palette for these graphics, please let me know.
So I started looked at the rom's graphics with Tile Molester in 8bpp linear mode and right below a giant Nintendo logo, I found some Donkey Kong artwork/sprites that I've never seen before. I looked below it and found a box that used most of the colours in the palette, and I'm pretty sure it wasn't garbage data. I also found a bunch of small Mario heards that I've also never seen before along with a hand symbol and a circle. Looking below and I found a picture of Mario and a picture of Baby Mario, both of them and labeled with their apropriate names in English and Japanese. Right below that, I found the last 8bpp graphics in the rom, an arrow and a circle. There might be some stuff in Tile Molester's 2-Dimensional mode, but I didn't have the time to check for anything in 2-Dimensional mode, so I'll might check later.
Knowing that sometimes DS games store graphics in 4bpp like the Game Boy Advance, I then swithed to 4bpp and found a graphic of headphones, a Donkey Kong key, and the logo for a scrapped Donkey Kong game, Donkey Kong Advance!
That's all I could find for now, but I might check later.

I already tried unpacking the rom, and it appears that rather everything be in separate files, all data related to the graphics is stored in arm9.bin.

Here is a complete dump of all the strings in the rom. I did it by hand, so I might have missed something.

Unfortunately, no. To my knowledge there are no tools for repacking .res files. However, I am trying to figure out how to repack .res files, and I am also making a program/set of tools that can modify the files in Legoland, but at the moment it can only extract .res files.

Well, I would suggest checking out LEGO Chess and Airport Tycoon, because they were developed by the same company (Krisalis Software Ltd.) around the same time.

I would like to know how to manually rip music from Sega Genesis ROMs, because I think the title theme from Super Donkey Kong '99 is longer than what plays ingame. Could someone please tell me how to rip Genesis music?

It appears that Super Donkey Kong '99's sound engine is also used in other games. See here: http://forums.sonicretro.org/index.php?showtopic=26350

My guess is the "Yoshi's Story" sound clips are just Yoshi's voices from Partners in Time. Would someone with better knowledge of DS games and better tools like to take a stab at it?

I found the Yoshi voice clips with Tinke. The lower quality ones are from Yoshi's Story, and the high quality voice clips are from Partners in Time.

I need help opening the StarWars.fib file from Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga for the DS. I think I found a huge amount of unused content in the game, but it's inside StarWars.fib and I can't seem to find any information on how to open .fib files. Could someone help figure out how to open this file? http://www.mediafire.com/?d004gxpkjudf2fx

I found this while looking for prototypes on eBay. It is an NES cart that was used by Nintendo World Class Service to diagnose an NES.

I just found this smiley face graphic in E.T. for the Atari 2600 using 2600gfx. I remember seeing it once on the purple bar at the top of the screen when glitching the game. Could someone verify if it's unused?

I'm trying to rip some .lls graphics from Legoland with Tile Molester but they don't align properly. I'm viewing them in 15BPP RGB (555). I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if Tile Molester is doing something wrong. I've attached a sample below.

You could try something obscure, like the Hartung Game Master or the Game.com.

I was looking through Minecraft's graphics and found graphics for a door with no window, pink and grey-ish hearts, a mirrored food meter icon, and boxes with "SEL" and "UN SEL" written on them. Are these unused?
