No no, I'm not interested in getting the rom to work, I'm just interested in extracting whatever music might be on it.

Orange juice. And lots of other juice, too. Like, pure 100% juice, not from concentrate.

Maybe a hot shower too? Those usually feel good.

I sleep on my stomach, and I have a tendancy to kinda curl a little.

Drag's Post #306
One of my friends is allergic to peanuts, and half-allergic to eggs (can have stuff with eggs in them, like cookies, but can't have an omelette or anything), and he's always carried around an EpiPen, and I mean *always*. He says he doesn't mind carrying it around, but considering he's always had these allergies, I think he's had a lifetime to get used to carrying it around with him.

To be honest, I'm glad he always has it with him. I mean, he usually doesn't get put into any dangerous situations, but he'll at least not be completely doomed if anything happens.

Edit: On the topic of shots, I usually wasn't really scared of it. What I WAS scared of, however, was needing to have my blood sampled. The way they did that back when I was in elementary school was by taking a sterilized needle and pricking my finger. I hated it because it was on the tip of my finger (the most sensitive part) and it really stung. Possibly because of the rubbing alcohol they used to clean my finger beforehand. Compared to this, getting a shot in my arm was a walk in the park. I never had any problems with it.

Also, at some point, they got some newer technology, and instead of taking a needle, they'd use a small disposable plastic button-operated prickamajig which did the prick, but it never hurt more than a small pinch. I liked this *much* better.

Posted on 10-09-07 04:52:47 PM, in I ripped one of my favorite shirts Link
Drag's Post #307
I know it's probably really silly to get upset over a shirt, but I really hate that I ripped it. There's a hole right in the middle of the shirt now. It could be sewn up, but the rip isn't along any seams or anything, so it'd look really awkward. I've had this shirt for years, a lot of pictures of me have this shirt. I'm sad that I have to let it go, but oh well. Eventually, I'll find a new favorite shirt to replace it, but until then, I'm only left with what I have.

I mean, it's probably really stupid to get upset over an article of clothing, but I guess I just got attached to the shirt.

So does anyone else have any kind of "silly" sentimental attachments? I can't be the only one.

Meh, I don't really care about that proto as much as I thought I did last time.

And considering how cryptic the last contest was (the solution was so complicated, there was almost no way any of us would be able to figure it out with the given clues), I don't think we'd have any more luck with this one.

Drag's Post #309
To be honest, I'd like to see DRM as a whole just die out. It doesn't work, it never worked, it won't ever work, and all it does is add extra labor for everyone; the producers as well as the customers. It's just a huge, broken, failing pain in the ass, and nobody seems to realize that.

Just that one size, sorry.

My writing in the upper right is messier than my usual writing is... I was doing this on the floor.

I think you can set it to 5 to reenable the options again.

I hate when "security" programs do that "for your safety"... it's so disruptive and unnecessary.

I always fixed it through gpedit.msc
Basically, my school implemented a security system into the network because of the sasser worm, and one of the things is that you have to run a scanner at the beginning of each semester so that the network system knows you're clean. One of the things it does is lock automatic updates to automatic, exactly like that picture. I understand how they want the technologically impaired people to be safe, but thankfully, the people who *know what they're doing* can reset automatic updates back to their preferred settings, and everything will be fine again, until next semester when you need to run the scanner again, in which case you just do it again.

Drag's Post #315
I still have my friends from grade school, but most of them don't go to the same college that I do, so I rarely get to see them while classes are going.

That's one of the reasons I have a Facebook account, my friends all have accounts there, so I can at least keep in touch and know what they're doing, even if I can't be physically present most of the time.
