Ever since yesterday, G4's signal's been really glitchy. It's really bright, and it has blinking black lines. It makes me sad. Is this happening for anyone else?

My college's cable provider is DirecTV, so maybe it's them?

So what's an alternative, if you guys hate it so much?

Apparently, they have this super huge news that they're going to unveil pretty soon, and I'm curious as to what it is. Maybe the station's going to get better?

I watch it for x-play, aots, and tng. There's really not that much else on there. Ninja Warrior was interesting, but I kinda got bored with it.

Uhh... is there anyone on this forum other than me who watches G4 then?

I'd like to know if the signal is wonky only in my area, only for DirecTV, or what's going on here, or *something*.

It's just what happens when general public has a voice. They'll express how they hate everything that isn't free, or made by large organizations. Or they'll blindly express someone else's opinion, because they can't form their own.

I happen to like the network, because it's the *only* network on tv that's even REMOTELY video-game related. I usually leave it turned on, so the room isn't quiet. You can't do that with the internet, I'm afraid, because then it interferes with computer usage.

I just mentioned something really minor and people are already declaring this hatefest material? Geez, you guys have your emotions skewed.

If it was a hatefest I think we'd all be going nuts with pitchforks, fire and brimstone.

You know, for someone who was just "pretending", you sure are convincing.

How would you fix it, without breaking the legitimate HTML in the post?

To be completely honest, whenever I see this, I edit the post and add around the link.

That's just me though, it'd be easier if posters used that. I mean, it's easier than doing <a href, so unless you're too lazy to type 11 extra characters...

This game is really awesome! It's a trial and error, design-run-reset game (think, The Incredible Machine, and you'll know what I mean).

I *LOVE* games like this!

Edit: Whoops, gave the thread the wrong name, fixed.

Yeah, the lag's pretty annoying, especially since you can't just up and restart the flash without losing all of your progress.

There are some problems with the implementation, but the concept is great!

Doesn't it require your email though? Why couldn't they just have it displayed on the screen?

Drag's Post #298
I personally like how the Egyptians did it; they believed in multiple gods and goddesses, and the way to succeed in life is by having a light heart. That and a lot of their gods were animals (at least to *some* extent).

I was baptized Presbyterian, but I don't go to church or anything. I almost never went to church, ever, actually. However, we do celebrate Christmas and Easter, but it's not really religious. I.E., to us: Christmas = put up really awesome decorations, the family comes together, and we give each other stuff, and have an awesome dinner; and Easter = Eat chocolate and hardboiled eggs. We don't really put much religion into it.

Ok, so now I'm going to give my opinion, and since religion is a touchy subject, I'm going to state right now that I don't mean any offense in any way.

One thing I don't like about most Christian religions is that I get the feeling that a lot of times, life is about suffering and devoting yourself to something that you may or may not be willing to devote yourself to. One tiny screw up and you get damned to go to hell forever, and whatnot.

I don't want to live my life in fear of the (very) distant future, I want to live my life feeling happy and enjoying the present.

One last thing, I tend to not want to limit myself to just one idea. I like a lot of Egyptian concepts (like polytheism, light heartedness, gods not necesarilly human, etc), but I like some other concepts too (flying spaghetti monster, and Discordianism, as ridiculous as these sound ), and other stuff that may actually be just stuff I made up.

I generally don't worry about death, because I don't plan on dying any time soon , so I try not to worry about the afterlife. I'll find out what it is when I die. So as such, I generally tend not to pay much attention to religion.

So anyway, that's me. I have beliefs, but they're generally a lot different from most people's beliefs.

Edit: Also, I'm not sure how I should vote...

Yeah, Sega Channel looked like it kicked ass. I'm kinda sad that I never knew about it, or was too young to care.

Ughhhhhhhhh.

I'd imagine it was a scantron test or something.

I can't really think of any head->desk moments, but I do feel pretty dumb when I'm walking, and then suddenly stumble clumsily for no good reason other than that I stepped my foot wrong. But I do it so gracefully that everyone is charmed by my stumble. (...I *wish* )

I dunno, the wiki didn't really seem all that useful. That and everyone and their uncle has a wiki these days. The novelty kinda just isn't there anymore.
