http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mm_ArO5KpeI

This game, if you grew up TRULY in the SNES/Genesis era, has gameplay not unlike some of your favorite games, albiet with a raunchy sense of humor compared to your posh lifestyle of modern games. A game all about killing goblins made of genetically enhanced nasal content by farting flames at them, this game has a simplistic style of gameplay that many people of my age remember profusely!

Well, this old gem from the Genesis era has been seen to be popular among us by the company that made the game, Interplay. It is teaming up with Grant Kirkhope of Banjo Kazooie, and some animator that did What's New Scooby Doo and a lot of Dreamworks games, to build a better Boogerman.

To those who remember how the old game plays, this game will have Boogerman riding in minecarts, flying in his personal toilet-copter, and even swimming his first time! All of the original areas are slated to be in this game, and more!

But they're relying on a Kickstarter, due to Interplay not doing so hot financially in this financial bully of a world we're in nowadays. But they do have rewards. Donat even a dollar and contact them to get a holiday giftcard with Boogerman Santa on it! Donate 5 bucks or more and get your NAME IN THE CREDITS. Trust me, you will love seeing your name on a Wii U game. Anyway, donating tons of money will also net you green chrome figures and even a green chrome working genesis cartridge of the original game! But me, I'll probably stick to donating however much is necessary.

Anyway, here's the link to the kickstarter! Have fun! And YOU CAN MAKE THIS SEQUEL HAPPEN!

Posted on 11-12-13 10:55:41 AM, in New game: Luigimobile RPG Link
Alright, I am battling with ideas for this game. I thought I'd just take a basic story and mash it up and hope that it stretches into a good story when I flattened it out. This would work if I didn't just up and ADHD out of it all.

Anyway, here was the original story:

Luigimobile, an area of the internet, started by one of Luigi's many lives, Luigi R. Mobile and his pet denizen from a notebook world of Brumbland, Barg, is out on many adventures of indeterminable purpose. Later on, they found out that the internet gods, Anonymous, is suddenly attacking the Netlands (Or Espernet or something cheesy) for an unknown reason. Finding out through battle, Luigi, Barg, and the rest of the crew discover that a mysterious yet familiar face was at work. A mysterious face that once decided to nab all known universes for himself.

But this may be weird and anger the real Anon, which I probably don't need.

So I am thinking making Mario the antagonist. But that'd make either the game shorter.... or more convoluted than my original plan. As we probably found out on Game Theory, Mario is not as he seems. My idea is to flesh this out and make Mario end up being The Charming Magician, or Dimension Traveller near the end. (Besides, picturing Mario in Dimentio's clothes just gives me the giggles.)

BUT I am also thinking of doing something stupid with this game.

Instead of having story, or ANYTHING, I may think about condensing Luigimobile into one planned feature. The Ancient Sanctuary, which works as a "Pit of 100 Trials", featuring all the planned enemies, sans bosses. While this may make things easier for me, it may suck, given the whole point is to battle to the bottom of the Sanctuary to Ballos' Shadow (Which will give most FF bosses a run for their money.)

What do you guys think?

I'm so mentally fragile that moving from one state to the next completely made me shy when I was a pre-teen. With my dad's death I had to move from Florida, a state I was used to living in, to Kentucky, a completely new place. Ever since then I moved from school to school constantly, making everyone different. And a lot od people are just plain weird when you don't know them that well.

So I just became shy, and it made me a little..... wary of who I talk to. This ruined my chances of getting a girlfriend and stuff too, due to how everyone is either weird or judgmental everywhere I go. It is kinda sad. But if I move to BACK to Florida, I dunno what'd happen.

Hello! I have an idea I would like to flesh out to people who are good at RP for a channel I am making. It is called #TheFoundation and it is a little different than usual protocols for the SCP Foundation.

Since funds are excessively high, they are taking witnesses of anomalous happenings, and offering them to join the SCP Foundation as V-Class Personnel. V-Class means volunteers. They have special rights to choose from a list of SCP's and test them themselves. If they want to test anything permanently crippling, the SCP Foundation has technology now that will reset your body to before you encountered the SCP, with memories of having already tested it.

V-Class Personell get their own hotel suite with amenities paid for by the foundation itself. It is like being rich instantly.... for the price of testing these anomalies.

If you would like, you can post your profiles here.

You MUST be human.

You MUST have witnessed an anomaly the SCP Foundation has addressed. You can OOCly control the foundation for this purpose and state anything weird that you say they addressed before offering to induce amnesia or joining you to V-Class.

No kids. No babies. And you must have a thick skin because a lot of these SCPs are dangerous. (Though you can be revived/found/fixed for another experiment.)

Hm. I realized this would fit better as a fanstory than an RP.

Requesting the annihilation of this thread.

All I need is a Shaymin in my pokedex and it will be by all accounts complete! The dex in Black is complete, but my Shaymin was unable to transfer because my friend crossed the ocean to find it. Pokemon does not like it when a pokemon is caught that should be event only. So..... that's my fix.

Anyone want to back and forth trade for their Shaymin? I promise to be honest!

Posted on 03-19-14 09:16:44 AM, in Rare just socked one to its own fans. Link
I have heard that Rare is a shell of its former self, what with staff changes and the like. Making games and stuff that are of lower quality than they should, and being an overall mess that doesn't know what the hell is going on.

In an interview with Craig Duncan after their discussion seemingly about doing away with Kinect (which sounds more plausible) dropped this bomb.

"I’m not sure [another Goldeneye, DK Country, Banjo Kazooie is] really what they want." in regards to their fans. Rare. Fans. Don't. Want. What made them fans in the first place.

Rare is dumb. Rare is stupid. Rare does not know much. Rare has low capacity. Rare doesn't think. Rare can't comprehend logic. Rare is foolish. Rare isn't bright. Rare is not the sharpest pickle in the anthill. Rare is dumb as a rock. Rare is dumber than water. Rare eats dumbcakes for breakfast. Rare is on copious amounts of drugs. And Rare just isn't too smart.

This has taught me something I need to publicize sometimes. When devs say "fans don't want" something it usually means "We don't want to bother making it".

I am in the middle of formulating a story, and it involves the Zelda timeline and my own fictional take on it. It will be riddled with missed details and innaccuracies, but it's a big damn timeline so that's to be expected. It's just something I find fun, and the Zelda story post-skyward sword fascinates me to no end.

The story is about rebuilding a land ravaged by evil. An earth torn asunder by a demon that refuses to die out or explode. An earth that pressures on, thanks to the valiant efforts of the Goddesses that once lived with man in a world full of technological advances.

This world, despite its various states, have three ways that it's rebuilding itself. All with the prevailing force of justice, and all with a certain blessing from Hylia herself. A link between valiant heroes chosen by the divine to protect the lands from going under. These individual links all have various, yet similar appearances. All of them have different personalities and stories, but they all were chosen for one purpose. To undo what wronged the lands of Hyrule.

Zeldamobile

Rebuilding In Progress: Please Wait Patiently.

Here are a few pictures and descriptions of my different links through the timeline!

Julius, the Hero's Link of The Heavens

Playful and silly at heart, this light hearted teenaged guy was the first ever to be reincarnated from the image Hylia had of a lone hero she once met. Julius, who normally wouldn't hold back a chuckle, even at the wrongest of situations, has a hidden sense of justice far exceeding those he lives near or around. Inexperienced at first, he would stop at nothing to right any injustices dealt to his friends and neighbors.

Darren, the Hero's Link of Secrets

Serious about his work, Darren lived with his father, who was a master swordsmith. A busybody, he is sent on an errand that'd change his life forever. Having met a friend in Ezlo, the hat that has a personality polarly opposite of the busy worker bee, delved into a secret world he had not once thought existed. The land of the Minish. Through various endeavors, he learned to do away with his inhibitions and be a true hero.

Elliot, the Hero's Link of Time

A truly good child of the forest, survived only by the thick of her worn torn mother's skin, he was adopted by the Great Deku Tree. Reluctant to save the dying mother's child, the Great Tree saw legendary potential in him. Breaking the usual laws of nature, he adopted Elliot into the Kokiri Forest, knowing that one day, the Kokiri might exile him on the chance he'd come of age. The plan was to reveal this to the child when the time had come. The time.... had come differently than expected. The good kid then embarked on a journey that only a true hero could handle. A true hero that had a little ways to go before handling a deeper, darker threat to the lands of Hyrule. The child was sealled away for many years until he came of appropriate age to handle the equipment needed to thwart the evil that had surfaced.

The young warrior would not see the day of victory over the lands of Hyrule, having fallen to the hands of Ganon...
or
The warrior would best evil, and restore peace to the lands. Afterward, after having been sent back in time, warned of the events leading up to the future he had witnessed. Followers of Ganon would be angry at the child, putting him as a sort of outcast to the rest of Hyrule. Even Navi, his fairy friend, would be upset at him. After fleeing the forest, Elliot set out to find her, to no avail. Learning that loss is an integral part of life. As he returned from a refreshing and mind altering journey, he was banished to the Kokiri Forest, with guards protecting the way out. Turning into a monster, he tried desparately to explain himself, but ultimately died a broken hero.
or
The land was saved, the adult warrior living in peace in the lands of Hyrule until one day, he decided to undergo extensive training outside of the land... which would be the downfall of the historic generation.

Daryll, the Hero's Link of Winds

This nervous hero, brother of Aryll, had just became the age of the hero of legends that only the winds spoke of first. This guy, reluctant to don the hero's clothes, was thrust into an adventure when the evil Ganon returned to sink Hyrule into a miserable state, as he had done once before. The nervous boy then learned slowly to relieve himself of his inhibitions, especially when his friends and family are involved.

Daviess, the Last Hero

In the declining lands of Hyrule, there was a kingdom in the process of picking up the pieces and rebuilding itself from scratch. Within this kingdom is a princess names Zelda. A great evil, Ganon, returned to bring havoc to these smoldering lands. In order to do this, the monster had to kidnap the princess, and defeat Daviess in the process. Sending his creations, the dark forces of Ganon, Daviess found his home in ruins as a mere child. He resolved to fight the beasts himself. Jumping head first into battle, he found that being a hero is a bit more harder than he once thought. Seeking an elder for pointers, he headed out with nothing but a wooden sword. He came out with the rescue of Zelda.

Years later, he came of age, and during his birthday celebration of adulthood, his hand glowed a strange emanation. A pattern of a triforce in the back of it! He thought nothing of it until he relized the princess Zelda, was poisoned by a dark wizard who claims that he'll be waiting for Daviess.... for his blood. He did not know what this meant, but he knew he had to act once more...

RECOUNTING: ORIGIN STORY

In the beginning, there lay a desolate planet in the Zolxian System. It was devoid of life, but inhabitable. Curious, the power of time decided it was her duty to create life. To Create existence on this blank planet. To create a world booming with life. This is what Time Herself planned...

Have you ever wanted to live life? NOW YOU CAN!

I found this very interesting game out of boredom. Basically, you live an alternate life of your choosing from infancy to adult. The RNG is silly, but there are VERY interesting things that could happen to you! Anything could happen basically. I ended up burning my arms on a hot iron as a baby!

Whether or not you want to burn your arms is not relevant for how fun this game can be.

Go ahead and play it. It's fun!

The alt attribute should be used to give a short description
of an image; longer descriptions should be given with the
longdesc attribute which takes a URL linked to the description.
These measures are needed for people using non-graphical browsers.

For further advice on how to make your pages accessible
see http://www.w3.org/WAI/GL.
You are recommended to use CSS to specify the font and
properties such as its size and color. This will reduce
the size of HTML files and make them easier to maintain
compared with using <FONT> elements.

You are recommended to use CSS to control line wrapping.
Use "white-space: nowrap" to inhibit wrapping in place
of inserting <NOBR>...</NOBR> into the markup.
