See, THIS is why upon hearing any of these I immediately navigate away from the page. It's absolutely the worst way to advertise. It's abhorrent and just pisses people off. Yep. Often I'm listening to music or something on the computer at the same time, too. I'll be like "Since when did this song have this...oh." when another page plays music or sound.

Also, audio ads are pretty bad if you're at work or in a public setting where you don't want others around you to hear the ad.
Yes. I listen to music all the time and it's as annoying as the next door neighbor blasting his fucking bass all the time.

Moving? Ahh, that really sucks. I really hate moving... The only thing is you get to nestle into a new space, one you've not grown accustomed to yet. It's quite nice for a change every once-in-a-while.

Hey, I'm right there with you on that one. I used to do a shitton of that over at OfficeMax... but I had phases where I'd do not only that but just about everything else in that store. Like print/copy/desktop publishing, stocking, sales, etc... pretty much everything in the store. Kept things alive for 2.75 years until my manager decided to start being a little penis to me and I quit.

If there's anyone that's going to school anyone else on how to cater to gamers, it's Valve. It's kind of their thing. Microsoft has Core Gamers, Nintendo has ingenuity, Sony has... who the fuck knows (Valve) and Valve has... ears. Counterstrike was a user mod of Half-Life and it took the hell off. So much so that Valve jumped on it and it has now become the legend of FPS's. Portal was also a user mod (it was known as something else) and again Valve leaped on it. Not to mention all of the other fan-based decisions that Valve has made. Steam, like it or not, will be the one to usher in the digital media age of gaming.

So why don't I have Steam again? Oh yeah, my computer sucks shit.

I got Reuben straight from DahrkDaiz as I am his beta tester. One of them, at least...

Reuben *does* need a specific ROM to work. The final version will patch regular ROMs which will then become unusable in other editors and will work only in Reuben. This is because the ROM will be expanded to allow for the extra space that Reuben needs.

Also, requesting that link to be killed. If DD wanted to release it, he would have. Some dickhead leaked it, I guess.

Thanks Sails. There's a lot of work to be done on this hack and will reach full development once DD does more work on Reuben. I kind of want to release a demo, but since the ROM hasn't been released, releasing a demo also means releasing the ROM. Can't do that...
