I've dropped down a bit in activity for this hack, but I'm still motivated to work on it. I'm still lacking in Airship levels, but I might be able to get away with a really hacky workaround and deviation from how worlds and airship levels work.

Some of the palette issues mentioned aren't going to be as big of a problem as they've been shown to be. I'm going to make throwable bricks have their own graphic since I'm thinking that's really the only thing I can see people confusing other blocks with.

Also, I wonder if I should start trying my hand at water levels now? What do you guys think?

Yeah, I've been hearing that a jailbroken iphone is the best way to go. Lots of stuff can be done with one. Are any iphones (before 4g) capable with Verizon if it's jailbroken?

I'm a little bit experienced in UnrealEd3 for UT2004... I'd like to get into making maps again. I only stopped because I couldn't find anyone to make meshes and models and whatnot for my maps. Kinda boring to use the same ol' shit floating around, you know?

I can create textures and stuff in photoshop, if that's what you need help with. I'd have to re-learn how to skin models, but I feel confident I can do that. My machine can run UnrealEd3 pretty well despite being 4 years old. I'd have to go grab another processor fan for it though since this one took a shit on me.

I'd say that after 20M we'd have to start counting milestones in the 5M's... Though I don't think tradition will break from the usual 1M for some time, still. Like, right now I'd have to say that the next real "milestone" is 20M. Just seems more exciting when milestones aren't being reached as frequently as they have been at this measurement.

Well, I *do* know it has support for importing/exporting but I'm not sure which formats. I didn't really look into it much since I didn't really know how to make any models.

My level design is alright too, but I don't have any examples since what I have *might* be on the other machine. If what I'm remembering is not there, then it was lost in my HD crash a while back.

Same here. Exactly the two main reasons I haven't bought their shit yet. I'm more apt to buy something like a phone or an MP3 player than a computer since the two former are specialized gadgets, whereas a computer you're supposed to be able to do a shit ton of stuff with. I'm also familiar with Windows and venturing off into the unknown is pretty scary. I don't like not knowing what the fuck I'm doing when I'm on a computer.

I try to explain this to people all the time. It's amazing how uneducated people are about electricity when they're surrounded by it in their everyday lives. This is why people who go try and repair their TV's and other devices end up killing or hurting themselves pretty bad.

Just gonna get this out of the way, I haven't used a Mac in a while, so I'll go with what I've used recently:
- iTunes. It's shitty, installs crap like Quicktime with it.
- Quicktime. Do I even need to bother?
- iPod drivers. Want to put music on your iPod touch? You must use iTunes. Don't want to use iTunes? You still have to download the 90mb installer to get the drivers. Not being able to use it as an USB Mass Storage Device (and drag-and-drop songs) is bullshit.
- iPod Touch's firmware. Won't go as far as to say it's shitty. It's decent, but lacks basic things that I feel MP3 players should do (i.e folder browsing for those crappy tagged songs; ability to manage playlists).

The thing about playlists is something that really annoys me. Only the On-the-go playlist can be modified on the iPod: bullshit.
I can't say I don't feel the same way about the Zune. Gotta use proprietary firmware no matter what, and the software itself cripples your computer if it's not a decent machine.

All the more reason to go with a Droid, I guess.
