01, I'm the exact opposite. My first smartphone was an Android (an EVO Shift to be exact), and I wound up hating it. It worked well at first, but I had to have it replaced at least once, and it just really sucked in general. I realize that's more of a problem with the EVO than with Android phones in general, but to be honest the experience has kinda soured me on Androids. Oops.

I have an iPhone 4S now, and I love it to bits. There ARE a few things I prefer about the Android platform (more apps without the need to jailbreak and higher customization potential, mostly), but on the whole I strongly prefer my iPhone.

One other thing I prefer about iOS to the Android platform is the fact that the interface is uniformly the same across all devices. That sounds like a weird thing to harp on, but my mom's Android (it was an LG of some sort) had a totally different interface from mine, so on the occasions I had to borrow her phone, I generally had no fucking clue how to use it. Never really understood the wide disparity between Android interfaces, honestly.

(By the way, I apologize if any of this was confusing or poorly-worded; I just woke up. )

My only complaint is the main character's name (which I saw on your About.me page, I believe). It's generally a really bad idea to give a character a name similar to your own--no matter how different from you the character is, people are (from what I've seen) infinitely more likely to cry "SELF-INSERTION!" if there's any similarity in names. I'm not saying she IS a self-insert--not at all!--but the name might be worth changing, if that's possible at this point.

Regardless, I'm seriously excited for you, and I can't wait to read the finished product!
