You open the ROM with Text Wrangler, edit the text, click the SAVE button and then all of the changes are in the ROM. Next time you play the game, it'll come up with the alternate text.

I had a few problem with invisible areas in my first level. I just turned the Collision map on. I couldn't see the textures, but I could still work on the level. When I played it (and solved all of the accidental bugs), it was fine.

That's just like saying that because the Xbox 360 has controllers, it's useless to get if you already have another console.

I mean, motion controls in video games are still relatively new and can be improved on or taken in another direction.

Which I hope will be the case, because most of the time motion control on the Wii was utterly useless or just plain crap.


It may just be me, but I haven't played a Wii game that didn't have motion controls I liked. Take Metroid Prime 3: Corruption for instance. Best FPS I've ever played, primarily because of the controls. What are Sony doing? Taking the exact same controls (C'mon. Their analog stick controller looks the same and the 3mote looks like it has an over-inflated TESTICLE) and they've just ported it to a different game. Microsoft were original, but all I've seen is what regular people do when they watch sports on TV. Except on an XBox. And believe me, that isn't enough to make me get an XBox 360 for the third time.

I have no intentions of buying this. I don't plan on upgrading until the point where 2003 becomes extremely out-dated. And considering I rarely use Office unless I'm doing coursework or FanFiction, it seems incredibly unlikely I'll ever upgrade.

Err, does TT64 and the importer have Windows 7 compatibility? I'm upgrading but I don't know when.

EDIT: Ok, I found the warp behaviours for death and success in Whomp's Fortress. Now what do I do to get it so that you come out of the Whomp's Fortress painting instead of the Bob-Omb Battlefield painting?

EDIT2: Ok, I edited the success and failure behaviours. Now, I don't have any stars in there as of yet so I can't check the success. However, when I die, I come out of the Whomp's Fortress painting with the success animation and that causes it to freeze. I know the problem. I've set both behaviours to 52, which is Whomp's Fortress Success. I had to do that because I can't see which is Whomp's Fortress Failure. It doesn't seem to exist in TT64, which is causing me a lot of trouble. I may have a solution, but I'll post back if I don't.

EDIT3: Got it! 1>52 is Whomp's Fortress Success and 1>102 is Whomp's Fortress Success. I've labelled these two now. If I were to compile a list of success and failure warps, could they be put into TT64? At the moment, they are ALL listed as Unknown.

It would be more of a gimmick than anything else, but I'd still buy it. Generally, remakes tend to be better than the original. Except for Super Mario 64 DS. That just wasn't as good.
