I would just put it into my checking account and put it towards bills. The two major things I have going on are my car (which won't be paid off until 2012) and home repairs. Semi-related, but that's why I prefer getting gift cards for my birthday and Christmas to money because if I get money, it will just go towards bills. If I get a gift card, then I'm forced to spend it in a store and I will be more likely to buy something special that I wouldn't have otherwise.

Oh, darn, I had no idea. But at least I made up for it, sort of. I bought them a new cat tree and some new toys. Some pictures of my colony: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Our driveway's concrete has been pushed up by a nearby tree's roots, leaving an opening that allowed a Chipmunk to move in under there.![]() |

Originally posted by Terra It's a bit of work, but it keeps me busy. Originally posted by Danielle Someone once told me that declawing a cat is like if someone cut open the tip of your finger and took out the bone. I won't declaw my cats, but that's not even the only reason why. Two of them were already declawed when we got them. One still has her back claws, but the other has none at all, and it really messes with her balance and ability to get around. I would suggest buying a cat condo and some scratching posts before resorting to declawing. 4/6 of mine aren't declawed and I don't have problems with them clawing anything they shouldn't because they prefer the cat condos and scratching posts/boards that we have. If you want to save money on an adoption, I would recommend adopting a cat that's already been spayed or neutered. That will save you quite a bit right there. Sometimes you can even adopt cats that are already declawed (like I did) if you're really that worried about it scratching things up, but don't want the declawing on your conscience. |

It's a calico, so it's most likely female as almost all calicos are (both of mine are). They also tend to be very playful. My 10-year-old calico still plays with toys and rockets through the house.

That's very well possible. There used to be two cats at our local shelter that had been together all their lives and they would not adopt them out to anyone who wouldn't take both cats. Eventually, someone did come and get both of them. That situation seems rare, though.

Unfortunately, ever since the move the wiki won't let me log in anymore, so I have to post this somewhere here... Just a thought on the unused Anna sprites in Final Fantasy IV - If they're only loaded with the final boss sprites, that's probably because she may have been planned to be one of the people who shows up during the "prayer" sequence to give power back to the team. Yeah, she was dead, but so was Tellah and he showed up.

Probably Panzer Dragoon Saga. Not sure if Crawl has something more rare in his half of the collection, though...

Only extremely tenuously related, but that new bit about Karn in Breath of Fire explains why he looked grey to me in Breath of Fire 2.

Looks like a job for Crawl and 1000. I'll ask him. The diamond/shield thing reminds me of the Diamond from Castlevania 2. Wonder if it was planned to have a similar item at some point.

I have a plug-in installed on Firefox that prevents more than 5 tabs being open at once. A certain person in the house kept opening up so many tabs that I would come home from work and find the entire computer frozen.

Quite frankly, I think if life does exist on other planets somewhere, it's probably similar to our own. If the laws of physics aren't likely to be different on other planets, then I don't get why the laws of evolution and such would be. The whole concept of aliens having these highly-advanced civilizations and whatnot is sci-fi/fantasy romanticism and doesn't make a lot of sense to me - ever notice how in such situations, everybody on the whole alien planet either lives in a grand utopian society or they're marauding monsters bent on universal conquest. You're never going to get everyone on a whole planet to agree like that.
