Eek. If this was a few years ago I would have had a few. Right now I only remember "Alien Soldier's music and Pulseman's music isn't very good" and "Super Mario World lost my interest in the first few levels" but for Alien Soldier that could change maybe (if I can ever actually play it for any length of time), Pulseman can change maybe, and for Super Mario World that definitely did change after I gave it another chance.

Maybe "Sonic Lost World 3DS is slightly more entertaining than Sonic Lost World Wii U's demo". I actually asked out loud if I was having fun yet when I was playing the demo. Lost World 3DS is still an unpleasant game, but I didn't feel bored by it so much as frustrated.

Part of the problem is that I really haven't played a wide variety of games, and a lot of what I do play is stuff I generally like :/ If I have more I'll post it here I guess. (As for what was discussed, I like SMB1-3/W (now), the 2D Metroid games (but I much prefer Super Metroid's physics and controls to any of the others, maybe with some changes to the shinespark though), have never played most JRPGs including SNES ones (I did want to change that some time ago though; I could probably do so now), I haven't played most Mario Kart games; I've only played through SPM but started Sticker Star recently and it's ok so far, and like most of the Zelda games but haven't played SS yet and forgot what of TP I did play and haven't played the DS ones or (anything past the first Forsaken Fortress in) WW.)

I should point out that the linked article, the equivalent BoingBoing article, and possibly a few others point out that Allen is probably going to get away with it not because he's rich and powerful but because the Cayman Islands government is too corrupt to punish anyone for it. Maybe Allen doing it is what may spark the public outrage needed to end that, though...

fun fact: MDI in wine still uses windows 3.x style icons instead of win9x minimized titlebars

Uh... no it isn't.

Are you talking about the UI? It's a lot cleaner than Australis, which I also didn't have an issue with, and if you aren't happy about the URL bar being tiny, you can remove the extra space around it by customizing the toolbar. I don't know about the unified URL bar thing that Mozilla is proposing since my Nightlies don't have it, but I'm sure that will be configurable too. Of course, there are people who *want* a fully configurable UI, but that's a different issue entirely, one I won't take since I'm fine with the current UI either way.

Are you talking about WebExtensions? Most of the big extensions have been moved to WebExtensions — unlike the Chrome Extension API, Mozilla actually wants WebExtensions to be as capable as native extensions, except for altering the UI, but see above. Of course, WebExtensions don't *yet* have all the needed functionality, but don't blame Mozilla rushing it for that — the WebExtension system has been in development for two years, if not longer. And there are open, actively discussed bug reports for the other missing functionality, like socket support — so unlike what that FTP plugin author thinks, there is no grand conspiracy to limit what users can do. And some plugins, like AdBlock Plus, actually had Mozilla people working on porting them over! Mozilla even has this page to track the progress on porting lots of major extensions.

Or do you have some other complaint I don't know?

Firefox has done this for a long while now. I forget if you need to enable it in about:config or if it's in the Preferences UI.

I don't plan on using Vivaldi for the same reason I don't plan on using Discord: there is no reason for it to be proprietary, considering the type of program it is. In fact, I'm willing to wager that it's appeasing Opera fans who don't care about free software in the same way the latter appeases gamers who don't, so call me RMS if you want, but that's where I stand.

[01:10:50] hey chrome fans
[01:10:53] https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/mozilla.dev.platform/4RAQOAMT9PI
[01:11:09] firefox 58 will now let you do that stupid "show all tabs at once' thing by letting you set the minimum width of a tab

(if you use nightly you may want to change the default back to 100 to avoid things sucking)

The alt attribute should be used to give a short description
of an image; longer descriptions should be given with the
longdesc attribute which takes a URL linked to the description.
These measures are needed for people using non-graphical browsers.

For further advice on how to make your pages accessible
see http://www.w3.org/WAI/GL.
You are recommended to use CSS to specify the font and
properties such as its size and color. This will reduce
the size of HTML files and make them easier to maintain
compared with using <FONT> elements.

You are recommended to use CSS to control line wrapping.
Use "white-space: nowrap" to inhibit wrapping in place
of inserting <NOBR>...</NOBR> into the markup.
