I use Max, mainly because I've been using it since version 3 and I'm used to the interface. I guess it's a comfort thing, but I really don't get along with SketchUp or Blender, SketchUp more so.

Mainly because I'd just end up making inane tweets that are identical to whatever I have on my MSN's little 'Share a quick message!' thingybob. Or possibly even more ridiculous. Also, by culling do you mean backface culling (having the texture show up on one side, the other, or both)?

Man, with the amount of cock and ball graffiti you see here in Aus, you'd think we were a country of gays or something. My high school toilets were actually pretty damn clean of graffiti and in general. So much so that when occasionally skipping class, I had a favourite cubicle to hide out and read/play whatever portable I had with me in. Clean as a whistle. THE most contested cubicle in the north wing's toilets.

On topic again, it's not exactly funny on its own. I however am responsible for a piece detailing a skull and crossBONES, with the tagline: BUTTPIRATES: TOGETHER WE STAND PROUD, RAISE YOUR HEADS HIGH BOYS. It's now buried beneath several more layers of paint.

Someone who has the required capital should set up some kind of small games developer's guild or somesuch that exists to ensure that small developers have the financial and peer backing to grow and perhaps merge, but with no interference from said 'guardian' organization. An umbrella corporation, if you will.

I haven't played an FF game in a while (read: my discs and carts and even my ROMS are collecting dust) but I dunno if I'll enjoy this one so I'm waiting on some more second opinions. At this stage though, I haven't purchased and finished Tales of Vesperia yet, and that's higher on my list at the moment.

A lot of Disney movies have darker undertones, so it's not really that much of a surprise in my opinion. I think that's one of the reasons they're considered to be 'family' movies as much as anything else. Not that they appeal to the lowest common denominator, but that they're layered with varying levels of subtext so people of differing ages can enjoy it.

As another example of that, the opening sequence of UP with the 'life and times' montage.

I really like the Half Life franchise, but I love Portal to pieces.

A few of my buddies think P2 will be crap because it's 'more of the same', however I pointed out that if it were somehow retroactively a second act to the original (black out, wake up later in the same game) they wouldn't be complaining. They have antisequelitis.
