Brill-fuckin'-tastic is a word I created by accident. I tried to say brilliant with a -fuckin'- in the middle for emphasis, but halfway through the word, I subconsciously realized that it wouldn't work and added -tastic instead. Since then, my brother and I have used it quite a lot. My brother claims that the word brill-fuckin'-tastic itself is brill-fuckin'-tastic.

The name of this comic, ''Super man så blir man full'', is Swedish (no shit?) and means ''If you drink [alcohol], you'll get drunk''. The only reason for choosing that name was that it begins with ''Super man''. Also, the sentence ''Super Mario?'' means ''(Does / is) Mario (drink / drinking) [alcohol]?'' in Swedish. Enough about that. Originally, Mario was going to chase a criminal or whatever, and whoever was in charge of controlling the wires (Link?) would lose control, causing Mario to smash into a wall instead. I scrapped that idea when I realized that I couldn't make it the way I wanted it in just four panels.

I was planning on having Mario... err... I mean... I was planning on having Inspector Swiss Army Knife wake up in a hospital bed or something like that, but I didn't feel like drawing the necessary backgrounds and stuff. The German accent was a last minute idea (as in, the last minute before I made the PNG file, not the last minute before uploading it). Writing a fake German accent is actually harder than it looks.

My plans for Season 2 looked good on paper, but didn't turn out as good as I wanted it to. Yesterday, I made the decision to retcon away comics 21-26, the unreleased 27-29, the half-finished 30, as well as my plans for the rest of Season 2, Season 3 and Season 4 by throwing together a time travel comic. I realize now that planning that far ahead ruins the feeling of lame last-minute improvisation that Season 1 had.

The original idea for the digitally inserted half was some kind of bridge leading to Kongoland, but that would have required waaaaay too much effort. Sonic and Link haven't done very much lately (Heck, did Link _ever_ do anything?). This was the first step towards fixing that. Also, I'm a bit disappointed that my home-made (intentionally crappy) bluescreen program didn't affect Mario's pants...

A few hours later than normal due to sleep (caused by lack of sleep), NSMB and Stargate SG-1.

I finally found a use for my DKC level viewer: Take screenshots and paste into webcomics! The flaws in the background (such as the one above Link's head in panel 3) are not my fault. That's what it looks like in DKC.

More logical deduction... The idea for the ''climax'' of this one came when I cycled through the different Link sprites and came across the ''fallen'' one. Although, at first, him stumbling was just meant to be a background detail and not related to the story.

In the Alpha Timeline (i.e., my original plans that would have happened if Inspector Swiss hadn't traveled back in time), this character was meant to be Tetris, a non-living L-block that people would treat as a character. A week or so ago, I suddenly realized that this was an unintentional ripoff off the Weighted Companion Cube, so I decided to complete the ripoff and add a romantic relationship between her and Sonic.

I always wear a headset when I'm using the computer, even if I'm not listening to anything. Now, according to some statistics I read, wearing earphones for one hour causes the amount of bacteria in the ear to increase by 700%... ... ...so I've usually got to scratch my ear with something.

I like to draw, not to get attention or any feedback (I rarely get either), but because I think it's fun. Usually when I'm bored (read: whenever I'm at school), I take a piece of paper and fill it with random doodles, usually random characters drawn in many different styles (some of which are bizarre). This pretty much never gets old, as there's like... near-infinite combinations of strange characters and strange drawing styles.

My suggestion to you is to take a piece of paper, a pencil, turn on music or something (to not only focus on the drawing), forget the fact that you have a drawing style and just draw something in one style, then draw something else in some other style, repeat until paper is filled. Just... draw without caring about any restrictions or anything. Drawing should be free, not limited. If it looks like crap, let it look like crap and try something else.

Free yourself from the boundaries you have created for yourself.

Also, don't be restricted by reality. It doesn't have to look real (if you're doodling and spend more than a few minutes on an image, you're overdoing it). Ignore proportions. In fact, what you draw doesn't have to be real either. If you feel like drawing a person who's nose is a bottle opener, don't reject it just because it's not real.
