In other news, I just swapped out my 10 GB hard disk for a 60 GB! Hooray!

Of course, the only reason I did was because it's controller board didn't fix my other, broken 60 GB disk. It basically went from spinning to spinning while the heads thrash around. Both disks have been reassembled with their original parts.

The spybot error is just an automatic memory dumper, and can be disabled in My Computer.

The BSoD is corrupted system files, corrupted drivers, or not enough hard disk space according to Microsoft. If you still have your installation CD, you could try using its repair feature. Or, see if you can get into safe mode without any crashes.

Sorry, but it doesn't work like that. Name Cleraner is intended for transferring files from a Mac to a PC, so that the file doesn't have to be manually renamed.

First of all, Gracjan: PLEASE stop posting black text.

To make that background, you have to put a <div> in the post header, and a </div> in the signature. Mine, for example, has this in the header:<div style="background:#000 url('images/rejected.png';">This can be modified to make it look the way you want it to.

I'm afraid there's a problem: Your image can't stretch.

You have to make separate images for corners, top, and bottom, as well as the corner piece animation.

I can do that for you, if you like.

Look in the code. The sections that say url('image.png') need to be updated with the new locations of images. For example, if I uploaded one of the images as http://www.example.com/mario.gif then the section that says url('mario.gif') needs to say url('http://www.example.com/mario.gif') now.

My old one died, but I was expecting it: Windows 2000 doesn't have enough room for security patches on a 2 gig drive.

So, I want to set up a server using Linux and Apache.

I have no idea how to do that, and all of the online guides assume I already have Linux set up.

I've actually been using Apache on Windows. The only problem was Windows.

My server's already up and running, and this is the second time I've done anything in a shell. (The first time was trying to get Linux to run on my old 386. It didn't turn out so well.)

I'll get Apache sending the right headers tomorrow. For now, sleep.
