Took me about... Maybe 10-20 hours to do? I'm not sure. Anyway, this is obviously Mario. Made out of paper (actually, it's cardstock, but whatever floats your boat). Cutting wasn't so hard, but gluing up sure was fun. Especially the hat... It took me four to five tries to get the damn thing right.
As you can see, the feet are... crooked. Blame the awkwardly-folded legs.
And, uh. Yeah. Now I'm done, and I have very little to do now...

Mario Kart 64. This one really got me in Mario Kart, and it was one of my favorites. This is the one I spent the most time on, second one being Mario Kart DS.
Mario Kart 64 introduced the back-and-forth miniturbo system, while (I think...) Super Mario Kart had a miniturbo, although it wasn't too noticeable. Either that, or you just didn't lose speed.
Mario Kart 64 also introduced items that we've all come to know and love (who wouldn't love dragging a blue shell?), and improved items that were in the previous installment. Courses were made much more complex, and the Y-position/elevation could be changed.
Mario Kart 64 added 4-player gameplay, which then has been available in future games (I'm not sure about Arcade GP, though)...
Anyway, MK64 is awesome.

Thanks. I used a toothpick for applying glue, and an X-Acto knife for cutting and holding hard-to-reach tabs in place while waiting for the glue to dry.

Haha, cute. I had to look up what you meant by "balrog". Balrog from Street Fighter (outside of Japan) came to mind, so I got confused. A strange enemy from Cave Story... I need to play that some time.

Heh, thanks. That's a strange comparison, by the way. Drawing him is harder... All you really do is cut out the printed patterns, fold, glue, and assemble. It's just time-consuming and can get difficult at times... But I still think drawing is harder.
