That said, it's... even *easier* to level in than in WoW, because PvP battlegrounds give you shittons of XP. Like, 10% for a win and 5% for a loss. D: I have no idea why someone would need "levelling secrets" for this game.

After reading this I hope nobody minds my massive throw together for the Asura Blade page...I've still got Cerberus' unused sprites to add in there. :X Though I do have one question: what about blatant arcade flyer differences? In particular for this game, its flyer shows a screenshot with a obviously different design for Rose Mary than the finished game (namely sporting a yellow coat), though no tiles of it seem to have made it in.

As for the flyer screenshots... I don't know. That's a tough edge case -- usually, we don't use screenshots of prototypes from magazines or advertisements unless they're illustrating something unused that -has- been found in the game. However, I'd personally say to post it -- like in this thread -- and ask if it's okay to toss up on the wiki itself. :o

Eternally dueling for first place, like the white and black dragons of Mother 3's original story, are Final Fantasy VI and Metal Gear Solid 3.

FFVI was the first RPG I truly fell in love with -- the characterization, the gameplay systems, the music -- everything about it was perfect.

Metal Gear Solid 3 was the most satisfying experience I've had on the PS2, though -- as wild and crazy of a ride as it was, I believed in it. The suspension of disbelief was in full swing, from the first betrayal to Big Boss's shaky, tearful salute in the end. I had an emotional stake in that game, and when I beat it, it felt good.

Third place would have to go to Nier -- I know it's a recent game, but no other game this gen has hit me as hard as Nier has. Plus, the soundtrack is on the level of FFVI's, and that's a high, high compliment coming from me.

Fourth is Salamander on the MSX. It's the game that got me into side-scrolling shooters.

Fifth? ... Imma say NiGHTS into Dreams...

Because I feel like it.

I finally got around to watching 11 and 12.

I'd like Godoka to negate my watching of the last episode along with all of the witches. Goddamn that was tacked-on as fuck. It hardly felt like a conclusion at all. D:

I think Kabal and Stryker would've made for an excellent duo as like...almost the kind of underground hero guys, I guess you could think of. The guys right in the city who help clean it up, like what they were doing, only more free to do as they pleased.

And I definitely would've LOVED to see what happened with the switch of Human Smoke and Cyber Sub-Zero. It was nice to see that each one cared enough of the other to help each other out, but Smoke in the timeline before really, really got a raw deal toward the end, going robot, then kind of demonic robot. I think though that this way could have been a sort of "good end", as I wonder if Smoke would've taken over the Lin Kuei like Sub-Zero had done and used it for a force for good.

I still say though, until the last chapter and a half, the story was fucking amazing.

The killing at the end just seemed unnecessary. I don't mind the fact that Liu Kang and Nightwolf were killed though. They seemed very justifiable storyline-wise.
