Even 3 years seems like a long time to keep a car parked and never touch or use it.

I don't think any threads on I1 got nearly as big as this or WOYM, etc. Seems to me that threads were more transient in those days. People would just make a new thread instead of posting in an old one.

Maybe because I1 was more active and threads got lost more easily, plus the steady flow of new users coming in who didn't know about the old threads.

I wear a watch sometimes. Not usually to work because I just use the clock at work, but often if I'm trying to catch buses or whatever.

But I usually forget anyway.

And in the case of Australia, since it's in the Southern Hemisphere the time changes the opposite way. You lose an hour around when we gain one.

I'll just have my alarm clock and watches to change, as my computers should change on their own.

There's this guy at my job who, several months ago, didn't want to wear his name tag because he didn't like things hanging around his neck, or some such.

I made him wear it anyway.

I often use the extra hour to fix my sleeping schedule if I've been waking up too late. Which has been the case for me recently.

I used Netscape back in the day. Then, around 2002 my parents had me use IE on their computer instead, to keep my bookmarks and passwords and such separate from theirs. I used IE until 2004 when I switched to Mozilla, which became Firefox, which I still use today.

I have Tracfone (cheapo prepaid service) and I used to constantly get texts reminding me to buy more minutes. Even if I had like 900 minutes left.

I don't like texting much because I only have a numeric keypad so it takes forever.

Congratulations on a decade!

It's been almost 10 years for me, too. Things have changed so much since 2002, and I have a hard time imagining life pre-Acmlm's now.

I often have trouble titling things in general. When I wrote essays for school, I'd wait to title it until the end so that I could get started, and I'd often forget the title entirely and lose points.

It's the same with E-mail and PMs, and a lot of times they get names like "Hi" or "Meow" or something.

Do it anyway.

Idea: If someone pluralizes a word with an apostrophe, replace the apostrophe with the poo character.

And yeah, I've seen some weird and obscure stuff in Unicode, but I never expected to see fecal matter

My alarm clock is from the early '90s; I vaguely remember us buying it when we lived in New Jersey. It has a radio too but it's not very good and loses its signal a lot.

No fancy auto-DST, so I have to hit the "hour" button 23 times. Seriously, why is it so hard for manufacturers to allow you to change the time backward and not just forward?

I don't see the symbols either, they show up as little boxes with hex numbers in them.

Mine uses 12-hour format, but there's AM and PM. And if I have to use the alarm (which is sometimes the case), that makes a big difference.

I woke up around 7:30 this morning.
