Sukasa: You're assuming that this game's Mafia is a organized as we were a couple of games ago, though. What if this particular Mafia is just three guys not communiating?
Of course, my saying this may cause them to rally. I highly doubt they are as smart as we were, though...

Hmm... those are some interesting choices. I'm almost inclined to agree with you... but I'll save that for the actual voting. I abstain from nominations for the moment... I want to see how these three react to your suspicions.

Yeah, I suppose that logic makes sense. If I wasn't me, I'd probably nominate myself as well.
The only thing I can say in my defense is that it's plainly a mistake to kill me. There are only three Mafia members, yet there are five possible suspects supposedly. And I know the drive for accusations is high, since all we're doing is losing people every other round, but is it truly wise to lose an ally in the fight against the Mafia?
My question for you is, why did you exclude Reimu from your reasoning? He's just as much a possible Mafia suspect, yet you never mention him. I know he's stayed rather quiet, but that never means anything in this game.
Anyways, it looks like he's already nominated me, so I counter-nominate Madman200. I'd like to think Sukasa had it right to begin with.
Just think about my words. I'm not trying to decieve anyone here. Just trying to gather my bearings and figure out who's who.

Sukasa... lest you forget that when you, Jordan, Snifit and I were all Mafia once, Jordan was hardly never there, yet always managed to send in his PMs.
You cannot base a person's PM habits on whether he even shows up or not.

I suppose if I vote Madman, I'll likely die...
I'll say No-Kill in an attempt to tie or beat out my suspicion.

*wipes the sweat from his forehead*
That was close... Any longer, and this could've been a tragedy. Well, I live into another night... Now I have to hope the Mafia don't kill me in the night...

Oh, come off it. The Mafia probably learned from their collective mistake and are now trying to blame me.
Besides, after the last day round, the Sheriff should have chose me to check last night. I'm no more Mafia than Kattwah was. If I was, don't you think last round my counter would have been to nominate him rather than you? After all, he was the first person to accuse me.
Choose your words carefully. I'm still not sure of your position as of yet. And you certainly seem to have something to hide...

A little snippit from earlier. You're trying your best to tell us you're either the Trapper or the Doctor, and after the last round, I highly doubt you're the Doctor, since not even YOU'RE dumb enough to not see what the Mafia were about to do.
Any comments?

I haven't seen one little bit of evidence supporting any (non-desperation) reason to kill. While all theories have merit, they also have gaping holes:
1) against me, the idea is that the one who started the voting for me died last night. This makes me look suspect. It seems the Sheriff hasn't said anything against me yet, so I would hope I'm in the clear with everyone, now.
2) against carcat, the reasoning is that his posts are average at best, which seems to also be the argument against Madman being Mafia. We'll all be sorry if he turns out to actually be Mafia, despite his claims...
If it's required to see this as a choice, I officially offer the nomination of No Kill. I believe my reasonings have been made quite clear...

Well... there are two on that list I most definitely won't be voting for (myself and Sukasa), and until I hear more solid evidence against carcat, I cannot vote for him.
But... I also won't vote No Kill at this time, either. I'd like to see everyone's thoughts about all four choices before saying anything further.
Not an entirely productive post I guess...

Dagone, guys! I leave for work, and you finish the round without me? I didn't even get a chance to vote!
Either way, we found one Mafia. I would have never suspected him. I do, though, wonder about certain peculiar things that took place in this round...
*wanders around deep in thought*

Honestly, I don't do my own weird thinking... my brain does it for me!
No, really! A couple of times now, despite the fact I knew what day it was, my brain tried to convince me that it was, in fact, a completely different day.
It also has a tendency to run wild and imagine things and make inferrences about statements that are out of control and make no real sense. It's also totally not in control right now, so I'm actually thinking clearly for the moment. (working tonight has bored it to sleep, I guess...)

Things seem rather tense right now. Reimu, Darkdata, and Madman are throwing accusations around like they're on sale 50% off... I won't discount anybodies theories, but something's bothering me...
Reimu claims to be the Sheriff, and says Darkdata is Mafia. Something about this just doesn't sound right... It almost seems... backwords. Take that as you will. I have no concrete information to offer, only my feelings.
I will wait for some further info before saying further.

This is kinda like the way it was with Street Fighter 3... only now the phrase goes "Wow! I didn't know Capcom could count to 4!"
I would be so much more interested if I had ever truly gotten good at fighting games. About the only one I'm any good at is Smash, and even then, I'm still slightly below average (I can solo against three teamed-up CPU players at level 9... but that's not saying much).
Meh. I probably won't even notice when it gets released...

I stand by what I said earlier. I think Reimu is more likely to be covering for himself as a Mafia member. His information seems a little too convenient, and since he waited so long to say anything, can easily be fabricated. I'm just wondering why the real Sheriff isn't saying anything. Of course, so long as Reimu gets voted off now, maybe the Sheriff never will have to say anything...
EDIT: Ahem... Tanks? I didn't get the chance to vote last time because I was at work when the voting happened. I only put the No Kill nomination out as an alternative, should anybody question whether they were making the right decision. And about what you posted below here, I already said here that there is a good reason for the Sheriff not saying anything... if we can vote out Reimu, then we can work on the last Mafia member afterword, which I still claim (and claim it loud) is not me.
It's fairly obvious to me who all is who... but if I said anything, the Mafia would have an advantage. And I certainly don't want to die in the next night round...

This excites me. Also, I got an email today from Sonic Retro reminding me that I haven't logged in in a long time and that drx has acquired all these new protos. I found that funny, since I've been following this all week now. I'd log in, but all I'm doing is reading. I have no intention of posting (since I basically have nothing of value to say there).
It's cool, though. I'm gonna have fun playing around with these...

I agree. And I'm in. This time as an actual bystander please?
Now, as for why we failed... it all boils down to a single mistake. Killing Kirby Mario instead of Sukasa that one night was our fatal mistake. That would have turned things completely around. Also, I had one thing backwards. I thought BooUrns was the Insomniac and Tanks was the Trapper... Also, before, I thought Sukasa was the Trapper, after his little "Doctor don't save me!" thing.
Anyway, you can't say we weren't semi-successful. Getting the game down to 2-1 before it was over is a pretty close accomplishment. I should have been more forceful, though, and should have tried to play myself off as someone else. It could have worked if we had acted quicker after people started making themselves known, though... I had conceived of a plan to play myself off as either the Sheriff or the Doctor had I had the chance. Sadly, though, the chance never truly presented itself...
I just had a thought... if we can't vote no kill, that means if we start naming off people that have special abilities (and aren't Mafia), they will have to reveal themselves early to protect themselves... also, since we could potentially accidentally kill ourselves off more quickly than normal, might we reverse the decision to make the Insomniac sleep every other night? This can balance out, since the chance of killing him in the day is higher...
