I am a strongly religious Southern Missionary Baptist. Borned-again Christian within the first ten years of my life, baptised into the church the next year, and devoutly practicing ever since. I rarely miss service unless there are pressing concerns keeping me away (such as this week, I stayed home at the apartment in order to be here in ase my brother calls and wants me to bring him something from the apartment to his hospital room). I have visited some other denomination services, a Catholic Mass and a service in a Presbytarian Church. Neither one suited the way I believe. Didn't feel any spirit in either one. Also, not exactly the friendliest lot in either place. Never was greeted or welcomed, which I find important for something that tries to radiate fellowship and love for one another. ____________________ I am too lazy to care about post layouts...also, I don't know how to do them...

Well, I can see the whole formulaic thing for some, but for the kind of church I go to, things tend to be much more dynamic. Basically nothing is pre-planned, which is what I've seen in many of organized church gatherings. I suppose what I'm trying to say is that I'm most comfortable in the kind of church environment where people are free to shout and testify whenever they feel hit by the spirit to do so. It also helps that it's always a small church where everyone seems to know each other. That's just how they tend to go with Southern Missionary Baptist Churches that came out of Tennessee...
