and it takes a giant greasy shit on my bars. Huge padding bloat around bookmarks, giant bubbly popup garbage, tabs can no longer be placed below bookmarks on the top bar (Holy fuck this is stupid), and even more fucking suck.

Opera, I love your browsers internals. I love everything you stand for and what you're doing. However, the UI is fucking important to your userbase, and why the hell is it still the same Opera 9 customization shit where you can't move a fucking bar without doing secret bar replacement tricks?

I'm downgrading as soon as I get an official response from the desktop team telling me they won't fix it.

Turns out they removed the personal bar in the settings but it's still "technically" there.

Super dumb.

I enjoyed it at the midnight release. It's visually immersive and spectacular and the score by Daft Punk is actually incredible (And uses plenty of noise channel!). The only thing I had a problem with the film is that the story is sometimes cliché and could have been handled slightly better. Some things are left unexplained, which is okay, but it's somewhat annoying to have to pen in your own reasons for things. However, it does manage to deliver a good message about perfection and Mans thirst for it. If you aren't reading the spoilers, I assure you it's plenty of unanswered questions that really needed to be touched upon.

Visual and audio nods to classic sci-fi/gaming made me excited.

The thing that most people aren't understanding is that the movie takes place around 20 years after the original. The Grid, as well as movies in general, has evolved. Things are different, so the movie itself is different. Average people would rather watch something that looks nice than have something that tells an epic story, this is obvious with the way box offices handle movies now (Hello, Scott Pilgrim vs the Expendables). They handled the story and atmosphere this way, which is a nice touch. The movie is about how things have changed so dramatically in the Grid as well as the real world, so expectedly the lightcycles can now turn freely and other new rules apply to the Grid. These differences are causing some fans of the original to bash the movie, but they're just not looking at it in the intended light.

I would give it a solid 8/10. It's unfortunate to hear that behind the scenes, the movie was a disaster. The director was a first time movie director who was responsible for the famous Gears of War "Mad World" commercial, but he ended up creating something awful and Disney brought in Pixar to fix the movie and reshoot tons of it. This led to Disney's huge budget movie becoming something unfortunately not as great as it could have been.

I watched my dad beat it two years ago on my NES.

He used a walkthrough for just about all of it.

I play but I play competitively at weekly regional tournaments. I don't play wifi too much either, though.

Absolutely not. Every time I see your old layout it brings such nostalgia back to my Acmlmboard youth. I...I can't handle this man...

All of those tools should be put in to one big program, separation is so annoying....

Interesting stuff though, I could see myself doing something with this.

It's out, I bought it the day it came out, and I just finished it up today.

The stories and games that Shu Takumi crafts are perfect. This is no exception. He covers everything and intertwines so many different variables perfectly without plot-holes, and it shines in Ghost Trick greater than it ever did in Phoenix Wright. The gameplay is linear, but you're here for the story, pretty graphics and great musical score. The Phoenix Wright series never had much in the way of gameplay, Ghost Trick at least makes the environment interactive. Length-wise the game took me around 15 hours or so. There were plenty of times where I was stumped until I had a "Eureka!" moment, which was always satisfying. The game proved finishable without any use of a walkthrough, thankfully (Hello Phoenix Wright).

There was great care taken here, even with the translation. I only spotted one grammar issue (An I'll instead of an I'm which lead to a silly sounding sentence), and despite all of the crazy time traveling going on the text was always clear enough to make everything understandable in the end.

Rating: Highly recommended. $30, and absolutely worth it.

I can't see the SNES B button on my CRT. It's just a yellow blob. Should probably just make them the US colors...
