Part one, I guess...
Ten years ago, people disappeared. The whole town... every living thing seemed to disappear for everyone except a single person. For months he looked around, wondering where everyone went... it seemed as if the outside world had vanished. There was silence all around, and he didn't know what had happened. Wondering about, gathering food and amusing himself, he eventually forgot his name and came to accept that there was nobody left. Then, five years after the world had left him, he met two people while walking in an abandoned (not that that was saying much) park. They too had forgotten their names, but one of them seemed to know a bit more about the whole incident. But they all had the same story; they woke up and nobody was there. They, too, had forgotten their names, and after talking about the last five years they realized they might have just never noticed each other, each of their paths taking them in separate directions.
They decided to stay together, until they had found out what had happened. But, for the next few years, they found nobody, and their wanderings were in vain. Then, exactly ten years after everyone had disappeared, they returned to the town after a long trek and found, to their surprise, a person walking around. The trio; two boys and a girl, seeing as I forgot to cover that, walked up to the person, and he was just as stunned as they were. He too had awoken and found nobody there... the streets empty, the shops deserted, the houses devoid of life... They told him to disregard his usual schedule, to walk the well-trodden paths, to look for more people that had been 'left behind', and set off to discover others who had been forgotten.
After searching far and wide, they found many people, indeed most of the towns population. Then, one day, they decided to have a meeting. They gathered in a large hall, and one of them spoke. "People... It was over a decade ago that we all awoke from our beds and found nobody there. Although for some of us, it has not been so rough, but for many of you it has been a long time since you saw another person. Me, and two others, have journeyed far and wide to look for others, and now it looks like we have found almost the entire population of this town. However... I have something to tell you. Something that may shock and astound you...
"You see, we have been outside of the town as you know it. And the world seems to be completely desolate, empty of life... well, until a few months ago. That day, the very same day on which we had all disappeared ten years beforehand, we found people. But... I went and journeyed alone later that day, and I found something terrible happening outside the town... there are things lurking outside of the town's boundaries now... things that were never there before. This is the reason I have brought you all together."
