Yes it does, BTW.

I could care less and I've been messing around on the 360 all night. The TV is on in the bedroom with the coverage, which is about to change in a few. I'm not the type to stick to the TV all night to see who wins. I'll find out in the morning. And nothing will change with the new day. I will stick go to work and I will still do what I normally do day-to-day.

And voting here is a joke. As in we get to fill in the bubble. Yay for technology.

So this time, instead of "hanging chads," it's going to be "bubble not completely filled?"

Yep, yep.

Funny thing is, when I went to go vote, they only asked for my ID, which has the wrong addy on it. All they asked me to make sure that it was me, was my current addy, which isn't on my ID, so I had to quickly remember my old addy that is on my ID. I should have gone back with another ID and voted twice, just to see i I could get away with it.

I have to say, my opinion of McCain went up by a few points while watching his speech.

I still wouldn't vote for him, if given another chance; but it's nice that the guy lost gracefully.

*201913 ~Xkeeper> He says he had the honor of calling him and congratulating him
*201916 ~Xkeeper> the crowd booed
*201917 ~Xkeeper> just
*201918 ~Xkeeper> ...wow

Some of his supporters, though...

They just booed again as I started typing this post.

I agree, I respect him a bit more listening to his speech.

I went through so much election talk today at work that I felt like my head was going to explode.

Bit more of an ass-kicking than I thought it would be, though...

Well today was awesome! First Obama won Ohio, then he kicked McCain's ass, then he won the election, and to top it all off, I finally quit my lame-ass job that I was stuck at the whole time this was going on. Woo hoo!

The thing that I knew would happen right after he Obama won, happened, is that the media started to bring out the race card. If this country is suppose to see no color and all that shit, why the hell bring bother to bring it up. So what if he's half black, he's a man like any other man. It just so happens that he is the President. Let's just hope things do get better and not worse.

Course now I have to deal with certain individuals who are going to be buying guns at the end of the month because of him winning.

I'm still going to laugh when 2012 rolls around and the right to own firearms hasn't changed at all.

Well the US hasn't become socialist today. Looks like my family's prediction as to what would happen the day after Obama wins didn't occur.

But Obama doesn't take power until January. I doubt it'll happen, but I know several people that think it will.

And it won't happen immediately then.

Give it a good year or so to sink in. We'll see how it goes.

As for gun abolishment, good luck on the 2nd amendment...but certain ammo will be taxed out the ass and certain firearms and other items of self-defense will be banned. The NRA will not be happy in about 70 days.

Well, they'd have to rewrite your constitution I imagine. And unlike a bunch of nerds on the internet who pirate software and movies people with guns would likely shoot back.

I don't understand why they can't realize that most people who use guns for crimes, tend to get them illegally and if they do try to get rid of the right to have a gun, it won't lower the amount of crimes being committed. Sorry, but if I want to go shoot someone, I'm not going to get my gun legally nor will I register it.
