I always seem to have a setup where I can clear three lines with an L or J block, or one line with said blocks to avoid gaps within the clump.

That's just in Tetris DS, though. Other Tetris games are somewhat the same, minus the 7x NEXT and HOLD. ... When I try getting Tetrises in the original, I tend to fail.

I also hate the Z but I've noticed that Tetris has a way of setting you up with the right peices. YOu can either choose to hold of on what the game wants you to do or go with it... Normally I have other plans and go my own way though.

The thing I really like is when I get upwards of three or more Is in a row.

Every piece in tetris has it's uses... the only pieces I do'nt like to see are "Z"s when I JUST START the game... otherwise everything is fine.

I'm not one of those people who makes a spot to put a line, though. I just sorta clear lines as quick as possible, and try to stay low. I don't tend to score very high, for my number of lines.
