Anyways, remember back when I talked about how there might be some issues with the 250K line with Obama and him making light of that line because he could fuck around with it all he wants?

I'll quote myself...

If he wanted to, when he's elected, he could easily swap the 250K line for 150K going 'oh well maybe I was wrong here' and end up screwing that same thing up. That 250K line is arbitrary and there really isn't a difference between an individual making 240K versus an individual making 260K to be taxed differently.

This excerpt of this post was made back on the 16th.

Our first change in this comes a few days ago with Obama's defining ad. Notice the slip on the 95% under -200,000 dollars-? Hmm...interesting. Not quite 250K anymore now is it?

Biden delivers a nice little thing today about that same proposition. However, he belives that it should be -150,000 dollars- instead of the proposed 250,000.

So I guess I was wrong in a sense...he's swapping BEFORE he's even elected. So will you care when it gets down to your pay level? I doubt it'll drop below 50K so I guess it wouldn't affect many of you much...but keep in mind that there's a nice little system about not wanting to help those on the lower end with socialistic ideas of 'spread the wealth' that are being displayed here.

I dunno, maybe because there are hard statistics for how many people are >= $200,000 (fyi, it's 2%) and it's an easier number to process in an ad than $220,000 or whatever it was. Even then, it affects mabye 0.005% of other people.

And I've said it before and I'll friggen say it again, under Obama's tax changes you'd be getting a bigger cut than McCain.

Grasping at straws...on a major issue and a campaign point for Obama...no I don't believe I'm grasping at straws more than proving that he's more changeable than a colicy baby.

In essence, I'd appreciate it if you guys got your head out of your ass for once. Apparently, when it comes down to actual debate that you don't agree with...you just can't.

(P.S. For those of you with excessive tinfoil: voter registration fraud actually occurs pretty often, and is taken care of long before any ballots are actually cast. In short, net effect on the election: none)
