Actually, a few of us do. It's just usually when others are. Pretty much the same reason you stopped takling there, really.


And yeah, most of the activity in big channels is just from constant activity. Sure, all 1000 people aren't talking at once, but it isn't rare to have 5-20 conversing at once, with others picking up when chat slows.

By the way, the latest instance, he came after the channel was active again; it just got quiet before he joined.

Activity isn't stable. It never has been.

If you're referring to a sudden downturn of all channels today, that is because it is still counting. It moves to a new day at 0:00 PDT (PST when that time arrives.) Currently, it is 3:31.

As for the plummet on 10/13, well... it is Monday. Most people were busy, after all.
