Hi! New guy here...
This is the very reason I joined this site: to give something back. I've finished up sorting the textures by level. I've done a pretty good job of it, too: there's only 46 textures that I cant identify.
Each major Area (Ex; Lethal Lava Land-Outside, Lethal Lava Land-Inside Volcano) has its own folder of the textures found in that area. The same goes with Effects, Enemies, NPCs, and whatever else there is.
I tried to be as accurate as possible, but I've probably messed up on a few locations. Also, I didnt name each and every object the texture goes to. You'll have to guess on some of them as to where they go.
Also, many textures are used in the same levels. Don't say I didn't warn ya.
Honestly, this wasnt that hard. Thankfully, I have a job where you sometimes sit on your arse for 24 hours with a computer in front of you. The rest is just will power.

Since I dont want to waste space with another thread, heres the rom where I referenced the locations of all the textures. It's my first hack of SM64, called Super WTF 64. Download and see why its called that... I even got 72 stars so you can go to any level.

Not to impinge on your want to contribute, but we do not condone random topics with a bunch of mixed content.

Please move any hack related stuff to the mods and patches topic and probably move the texture stuff to a separate topic or sticky. It doesn't seem to be such a massive effort that it requires its own topic, though.
