Pretty much foods that you hated when you were younger, or that you never tried until you got older and you were like, 'hey, this is actually good. More please!'.

Seafood - I hated the stuff. I used to be all like, "if its from the ocean, I won't eat it". But so far I've tried crab, crab cakes, lobster (I still really don't like this one) and coconut shrimp. I'm slowly working on other types of seafood.

Foot/spicy foods: Never would I have thought that I could stand and like spicy things. But here I am, eating things that I would never have tried when younger and that some people that I know won't. Especially insanely hot sauce and chipotle sauce and so on.

For me, it is the opposite effect. Foods that I'd ate when I was younger, I no longer eat now. Things with shiitake mushrooms are a no-no now. Maybe that is the only thing. *shrugs*

But I guess, I have grown more to vegetables--more willing to eat them on my own volition than being made by parents.

I can't remember ever disliking shrimp, but with stuffed clams I had the opposite reaction - kinda liked them at first, but got tired of them quickly.

Most foods that I hated younger that I love now are meats. When I was very young, I didn't like burgers, but now, I love them (with only meat, cheese, and ketchup, though). I also hated steak when I was younger, but I like it now.

For the longest period I couldn't stand Smartfood popcorn () but then I started liking it again...

I've always liked seafood, though... I'm spoiled though from living in a coastal area, it's not safe to eat seafood from anywhere inland... (unless it's from a nearby river I guess)

Cheesecake was one of mine. I thought it was gross when I was younger (not to mention the idea of cheese, a salty food, in a cake to a young person seemed too strange) but now I find it absolutely delicious. In fact, I had some today with lunch. Thank you college lunches!

Bananas turn too fast for me to want to buy them. I ate them a lot while in high school (they help with cramps and I was on the swim team and it's not pretty when your leg cramps up in the water).

I love fish now, and I used to hate it. Also, I used to hate Swiss cheese, but now it's my favorite kind.

I can't stand pork chops or pork shoulder, steak, or chicken anymore. I'm starting to develop a dislike of cold cuts as well, but I love Boar's Head cracked pepper turkey. That stuff is the best.

I also rather dislike "queso de papa", which is a very thick-textured cheddar cheese, a lot, although I used to love the stuff.

I feel the exact same way when it comes to cheese (assuming you meant "hate" instead of "have"), I love most types, but swiss... (also allergic to bleu cheese, so that's off the list too)

It's mainly been vegtables that I haven't liked before and now enjoy eating.

I've also never liked menudo, and I still don't, but I'm starting to eat it more and more.

I've continued to enjoy any other food that I liked when I was younger.

You know, I've always had that problem....I'll type the wrong word even when I am thinking of another. Maybe they should make up a disorder for that.

And I LOVVVE bleu cheese...my dad used to eat it all the time and of course I caught on to it.
